First of all, I just posted three updates at once. Make sure you've read the last couple of updates as they contain, well, the ending.
I'm not fighting Shinryu or Lost Babil. I'm done with this game, and those superbosses can go screw themselves. Shinryu gives the Ragnarok, which is outclassed by the Ultima Weapon anyway, and Lost Babil costs Gil to fight, requires 3 parties to fight and the reward is Max HP and MP increasing items.
Final Fantasy IV is one of my favourites in the series, and to see the sequel be... this, well, it's really disappointing. Hell, it didn't even need a sequel. The old characters had nothing new to them and the new characters were stupidly bland, hell, the villains were the least interesting characters in the game! And as I've pointed out before, the gimmick of the final chapter was so fucking stupid I have no idea what they were thinking when making this. The battle mechanics? Well, there was something there, but Bands were useless after a while and the moon phases were more annoying than anything else. I don't think I'm ever gonna play this game again, just, ugh.
I could have said a lot more here, I really could, but unlike TAY, I want to avoid retreading old ground too much.
I think I'm also done with Live Blogginations and TVTropes in general. To be honest, this place doesn't feel fun anymore. I also don't think this place fits well with a more typical screenshot or video format Let's Play, and I'd like to start heading in that direction. The text logs I've been doing have certainly felt like an LP, and are fun for me to write, but I feel that I'm not properly showing off the game by just doing text.
