Hi everyone. Today, we're gonna check out that shooting star. The landing has left a huge crater on the path between Damcyan an the mountain. This is the Impact Crater, and it looks kinda... dead.
Yang: What is the meaning of this?
Ursula: It's as if the land itself has rotted!
Yang: If only that were all we had to worry about... I feel an intense power nearby...
Ursula: This is not just any normal shooting star.
Yang: No. Brace yourself for anything. Mount Hobs could be a mere playground compared to this place.
Ursula: Yes, Father!
We start at the Upper Wall. On the path, we see brown patches of land. We can jump off of these patches up and down ledges. We jump our way down to the Middle Wall.
The Middle Wall is kinda tricky to navigate, using the patches to create a maze. We manage to work our way around to a Headband, which we could give to Ursula, but the Defence and Magic Defence loss over her default equip (a Feathered Cap) really isn't worth the Attack boost, a Save Point, and some Metal Knuckles, which have no effects in exchange for more Strength/Attack, which we give to Ursula, then descend to the Lower Wall.
The Lower Wall is also a bit of a maze. We eventually navigate our way to a Silver Armlet, which we give to Ursula for the extra Defence, and Faerie Claws, which can confuse, and give a Speed boost, so Yang can have those.
We continue downwards to the Crater Floor and find... a tombstone?
Yang: "Here lies a brave group of monks from the glorious land of Fabul." Oh, no...
Ursula: These must be the high monks who left to train on Mount Hobs!
Yang: Rest in peace...
Then, the Sylphs appear.
Sylph: Yang: Stay on your guard!
Yang: You...!
Sylph: They've come for us!
One disappears.
Sylph: And they will come for the Crystals next!
There goes the second.
Yang: Wait! Of what do you speak!?
And the last one leaves. Thanks a lot Yang, that one may have had some last words before it (presumably) gets Taken for Granite, but you just talked over it. Good job.
Yang: What is happening to this world of ours? We must return to Fabul at once. I fear for its safety.
Ursula: Yes, Father!
We could backtrack, but there's a back way out where our group somehow jumps all the way out to the World Map, skipping the walls, and also getting a chest with a Hi-Potion for our (lack off) effort.
We now have to backtrack our way through Mount Hobs. It seems pretty uneventful, until we reach the Summit...
Ursula: !
Yang: What is it?
We see something in the sky.
Ursula: Look at that!
Yang: It's a bird... no, an airship!
An entire fleet. We know what this must mean.
Yang: The Red Wings! Heading for Fabul!? We must hurry!
Ursula: Yes, Father!
Of course, after that, the trip is entirely uneventful. Next time, we'll get back to Fabul.
