So, let's explore Agart. Challengingway's here, but he won't let us do anything challenge related until we beat the tale. The shops here give some nice defensive upgrades to Rydia, and we get a better bow and some arrows, in case we want them.

There isn't much here, though, so let's head onwards to the Agart Mine. It's very sparkly. The enemies are also pretty strong. I'm missing Brina already.

B1's got nothing interesting. B2, on the other hand, has a very well appreciated healing pot. But then not much else.

B3's a bit mazey, but navigating it gets us Plate Mail for Luca. It's stronger, but lacks the stat changes the Horned Armor gives, so her attacks are a bit weaker. Not like that's a problem, anyway. There's also a Save Point here. Lots of healing for us in this dungeon.

Onto B4, then. Another mazey floor. We start off by finding some Mythril Gloves for Luca. While looking for more treasure, Rydia learns Osmose.

We also find a Mythril Spring. Hmm... probably important somehow. This floor also has a Save Point. I think the game is being a little too generous...

There are 2 chests up ahead. One contains a Circlet, which is already outclasses by stuff I bought at Agart, and the other is trapped.

The Agartoise is a turtle, so good defence, hits hard. Periodically, however...

Charging up fire magic!

It turns red, and if we don't cast an ice spell quickly to diffuse it. If we attack at this point, we're pretty much dead.

So strategy is basically, if it's blue, Luca beats the crap out of it, if it's red, Rydia freezes it. Simple. It falls quickly enough.

We get Agarite afterwards.

Luca: I bet we can repair the Falcon with this! Let's go back and try it!

We have Rydia Warp us out, head to Agart, and rest until the moon is waxing. We're not done with this dungeon yet.

We head back to B4. There's an empty room around here that has a special encounter during the waxing moon. These fights are against 2 Quarto Puppets. They drop two special items, the Mythril Nut and Mythril Bolt. It's a rare drop. We keep fighting until we have at least one of each.

The RNG decides to be merciful and give me what I need after 4 battles. Let's head back to the Falcon now.

Luca: All right then! Time to get to work!

Rydia: Let me help, too.

The two get to work on the repairs.

Luca: This doesn't look good...

Rydia: What is it?

Luca: The damage is a lot worse than I thought. I can't fix it with what I have at hand...

Rydia: You're kidding me! If we can't get the Falcon back in shape, we'll be stuck here.

Luca: I know, okay!?

She looks at Calca and Brina

Luca: I'm sorry...

Rydia: Wait... you aren't thinking about salvaging the parts from Calca and Brina's bodies, are you?

Luca: I don't have any choice. That's the only way for me to get the Falcon off the ground.

Rydia: Luca... You can't do this...

Luca: But...

Rydia: You grew up with these guys! You've known them since childhood!

Luca: ...

Now, here's the key thing. If we don't have the Mythril Spring, and at least one of each Mythril Nut and Mythril Bolt, Calca and Brina are scrapped. We lose them permanently. However, we meet these requirements, so...

Rydia: Can't you use these?

Rydia hands over the Mythril parts.

Luca: This is perfect! Not just for the Falcon, but I can use these to fix Calca and Brina, too!

Rydia: Really?

Luca: Yes! Thank you, Rydia!

Rydia: And I'll help, too. We can repair this ship together!

Luca: All right!

More repairs happen.

Luca: The Falcon is back!

The dolls give us a little dance.

Rydia: Hee hee...

Then, shaking sounds. Crap, what's happened now?

Luca: An earthquake!?

Rydia: Why is the ground shaking?

We look out, and see Titan attacking the area.

Rydia: Titan!

Titan: ...

Rydia: It's me! Rydia!

Titan: ...

Rydia: Agart is in mortal danger!

Titan: ...

Rydia: Please! You've got to wake up!

We start attacking Titan. Lightning Brain Buster is a good move for this fight. After a while...

Rydia: No...

Luca: What!?

Titan moves away from us.

Rydia: He's... No! Titan, no!

Luca: Oh, no...

Rydia: Titan! Please!

After a while, Titan starts attacking us. We use a Spider Silk to reduce the amount of attacks aimed at us. He's not that hard, really. Once Luca's out of MP from Lightning Brain Buster she uses Big Throw (as we're now on Full Moon, so Attack's down) and Rydia just uses her 2nd tier spells.

Eventually, Titan uses an Earthquake so strong, we get knocked down to one HP. I'm sensing an occurring trend with the scripted boss fights in this game. Then some guy jumps onto the field and beats Titan in one hit.

Rydia: Who... are you?

Man in Black: We need to go. The tower awaits.

Rydia: The tower!

The Tower of Babil is glowing. I guess that's where we're headed next.

Man in Black: The horrors of the past come to visit us again.

Rydia: Who are you... really?

Cut to black, tale complete. Next time, a Challenge Dungeon. Then this tale's done.
