Since we've caught up with my playthrough, this update will be a purely numbers one with all my unit's stats on it. Any units who've leveled up under my care will have their stats posted here, as will units that I want to comment on (like Volug). Shunned units will not appear.

Format will be, for brevity's sake, HP/Str/Mag/Skl/Spd/Def/Res

Differences from the average will be posted in brackets, but I'll be rounding off the figures, because a 0.n advantage is kind of meaningless. Boosters used are indicated by a ~ followed by the actual figure sans booster.

Micaiah (lvl 17)

30(9~2)/5(1)/20(1)/14(0)/15(3)/24(2)/7(2)/18(0)

This is a speed-blessed Micaiah, which is the best Micaiah. She's bang on the money for all of her stats, and surprisingly ahead in her weaker areas. I'm kind of glad she's turned out this way for HM.

Sothe (Lvl 4)

37(2)/22(3)/6(2)/23(1)/21(0)/23(7)/17(3)/11(2)

Not bad at all. Ahead in all stats except speed. Problem is that this is in part due to is transfers. His strength is capped, which is cool, but then again, it means that his attack is going to be hampered pretty badly.

Volug (lvl 15)

No change. He's running out of time now, and is going to be used purely for his supporting utility soon. Or I could use his special training regimen in Part 3. I can't tell right now how risky that could be.

Nolan (lvl 17)

33(0)/17(2)/2(1)/16(0)/14(0)/11(0)/15(4~2)/6(0)

So, I thought he was speedscrewed, but apparently not. He isn't doubling anything for a while, and I don't like it. Still, he's not behind in any stat, so I'll continue training him.

Laura (lvl 7)

20(2)/3(-1)/12(0)/8(1)/7(-2)/10(0)/3(0)/13(2)

Er, she's the first slightly screwed character on this list, but since she's purely a healer and will never see combat, I'm not bothered. The only stat I care about is magic, and she's doing just fine there.

Jill (lvl 17)

26(1)/13(1)/1(0)/14(1)/15(0)/16(1)/14(0)/4(0)

Bang on her averages for almost everything, she's nothing special yet, but a solid unit. I'm giving her an Energy Drop (+2 Str) for the next chapter she appears in. Her bases automatically meant that she'd have less than amazing tier 1 stats, so I'm hoping she picks up after promotion (she usually does).

Zihark (lvl 4)

30(0)/17(0)/6(0)/23(1)/24(1)/11(0)/13(0)/12(1)

He's only had one level up so far, so nothing to report. He's doing just fine, and is the closest thing the Dawn Brigade has to a dodge tank.

Edward (lvl 10)

25(1)/10(0)/0(0)/15(1)/16(1)/10(-1)/5(-2)/2(1)

Offensively fine, defensively screwed. He'd have turned out alright if I'd chosen to continue fielding him, but my reset count would've gone through the roof.

Leonardo (lvl 5)

18(1)/9(1)/1(1)/13(1)/11(1)/7(1)/5(0)/4(0)

So he's slightly ahead in everything but his defensive stats...? Wow. Didn't expect that. I wasn't even going to post his stats until I realised that I had used him enough to get him close to a second level up, way back when the Dawn Brigade didn't have any decent units.

And that's that for the interlude. All of the above, except Edward and Leonardo are part of my main party now. I'll also be using Tormod and Muarim intermittently, but not enough to leech away all of that oh so important experience. See you in Chapter 8!

Next time: The actual swamp chapter
