Opening the package, Bob and Alice find two deck boxes, one black and one red. Bob chooses black, which leaves Alice with red.

Alice's Deck:

  • Forest x 5.
  • Mountain x 5.
  • Firey Hellhound RR 1: 2/2, R Fiery Hellhound gets +1/+0 until end of turn.
  • Garruk's Companion GG: 3/2, Trample.
  • Gladecover Scout G: 1/1, Hexproof.
  • Goblin Tunneler R1: 1/1, Tap Target creature with power 2 or less is unblockable this turn.
  • Stampeding Rhino G4: 4/4, Trample.
  • Volcanic Dragon RR 4: Flying, Haste.
  • Chandra's Outrage RR 2: Instant, Chandra's Outrage deals four damage to target creature and two damage to creature's controller.
  • Firebreathing R: Enchant Creature, R enchanted creature gets +1/+0 until end of turn.
  • Plummet G1: Instant, Destroy target creature with Flying.
  • Overrun GGG 2: Sorcery, Creatures you control get +3/+3 and gain Trample until end of turn.

Alice's Booster:

  • Brindle Boar G2: 2/2, Sacrifice Brindle Boar you gain 4 life.
  • Crumbling Colossus 5: 7/4, Trample, When Crumbling Colossus attacks sacrifice it at end of combat.
  • Giant Spider G3: 2/4, Reach.
  • Gideon's Avenger WW 1: 2/2, Whenever a creature an opponent controls becomes tapped, put a +1/+1 counter on Gideon's Avenger.
  • Goblin Tunneler R1: 1/1, Tap Target creature with power 2 or less is unblockable this turn.
  • Pride Guardian W: 0/3, Defender, whenever Pride Guardian blocks you gain 3 life.

  • Pentavus 7: 0/0, Pentavus enters the battlefield with five +1/+1 counters on it, 1 and remove a counter from Pentavus put a 1/1 colorless Pentavite artifact creature token with Flying onto the battlefield, 1 and sacrifice a Pentavite puts a +1/+1 token on Pentavus.
  • Reassembling Skeleton B1: 1/1, B1 Return Reassembling Skeleton from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
  • Stonehorn Dignitary W3: When Stonehorn Dignitary enters the battlefield, target opponent skips his or her next ccmbat phase.

  • Lava Axe R4: Sorcery, Lava Axe deals five damage to target player.

Per the rules of Battle Booster, Bob and Alice may each take five cards from their booster and add them to their deck. (They may not remove any cards from their deck.) Which cards should the person you're advising pick? Feel free to explain your reasoning.
