Sly's first attempt was a failure and need to get the captain outfit of Black Spot Pete's mate, Cantunkus Tim. Using a pirate fear of monkey, Sly lure that pirate to anchor, so Sly can drop the anchor on the pirate's head — getting Tim's eyepatch. Next, after getting of the next pirate's two bodyguards, Sly pick-pocketted Tim's peg leg from the pirate. Then Sly chase Twitchy Ned until Ned's back was against the sea — earning Sly the captain hat of Tim.
In his "Tim" costume, Sly play a insult game with Pete learing the following
- The suit is buried on Daggar Island.
- Pete lost his ship in a game of cards.
- The map was stolen by Captain LeFwee.
- Captain LeFwee live in Skull Keep
Next job was for Murray and Sly, using a jolly boat, the destroyed four runners, six harbor patrol boarts, and the mast of the habor patrol's cutter.
Despite some hang ups, Bentley and Penelope were able to steal the map from Skull Keep
Next, Sly sneak defeat all pirates aboard a ship and with the gang members headed for Dagger Island.
After finding the treasure, Captain LeFwee kidnnapped Penelope, so Bentley come up with the follow tasks.
- Get items to improve the cannons.
- Defeat the Red Dogs.
- And meet tne mysterious, Crusher.
