I can see why some people might not like Part 6. There are a couple of fights that weren't so good, and the ending was pretty confusing. But to be fair, all the other parts had at least one bad fight, and Part 5 also had a pretty confusing ending. I'd say each part of Jojo is about equal to the others in quality.
I've already began reading Part 7. It's also quite good.
