This is totally weird, the game read my mind. I was thinking "You know, it's weird, normally at this point, usually before, that there'd be a shot of the villain doing whatever it is they do so we finally learn a small bit of what they are up to or what they look like or their M.O. or something." and lo and behold, I find the bad guy is staring at out three heroes in some imaging thingy in the darkness. You know man, that's really bad for your eyes.
wait, it's more than one person. My first guess was Organization XIII but I don't think so. I just recognized Ursala's laugh so that means the deep voice was Jafar and this is the Council of Disney Villains. Judging by the sword, Captain Hook is there too which is weird because he's probably the most mild of them all. And their boss is Malefecint. I know I'm supposed to be impressed and all but I never really saw Sleeping Beauty but everyone and their cousin seems to say she's some kind of Disney villain badass among badasses. What makes her so great?
So I learn how to access the gummi ship, I go buy some upgrades for Donald and Goofy's weapons, I get a fire spell (wake me when I can get to freezing stuff), and I learn about "Tirnity" Apparently the marks I talked about earlier are accessed by "trinity" which causes whacky effects, but I can apparently only do it to blue for now and blue teleports me to a place where there was a treasure chest with a postcard. How... special. I decide to go to another world and.... This is stupid.
I mean nevermind the fact the Gummiship's design is stupid, but playing as the gummiship is utterly unnecessary and bland. Why would I want to play a cruddy version of Starfox when I can easily just download an N64 emulator and play Starfox64. Or even better, I go pick up Starfox Adventures and finish it after all these years.
So at the end of probably the most painful gameplay so far, I'm at a Olympian Coliseum. That's different. When I played this a forever ago I ended up in Wonderland. Well considering I hated Wonderland, this will probably be a vast improvement. Besides, this is the land of Hades, even though he was a sick perversion of an actual cool guy mythology wise, I still liked Disney's Hades. I suppose this means I'll be encountering Heracles Hercules... That name thing is going to be bugging me the entire game, I just know it.
