The Lunar Ruins Again

The problem with the Lunar Ruins is that for every set of three floors before a trial, there are five floors to choose from. This means some floors and their awesome equipment just do't show up when we want them too. Let's go after these floors and equipment now. For no particular reason, we'll use the default party for this.

After a close look at the Chocobo Forest Floor of Remembrance, we find the Hog Call, a sword that can turn enemies into pigs. We're already wielding the overpowered weapons, though, so we'll pass on that one.

And one point, we find a library.

Old Man: I'm in quite a pickle... This place is so big, I can't seem to find the book I want to read. Oh, young one... Can you help me find the book called "Mysidian History"? I will dispose some vital information if you find it for me...

Some scholars will give us hints, and we eventually find it.

Old Man: Oh, yes! This is it! Let me show you a secret path to get outside. Heh heh. I found it a long time ago... Good luck on the rest of your journey.

We head out.

Further down, we find a Floor of Remembrance we haven't seen yet, another Tower of Babil floor. Nothing interesting.

Even further down, we find a maze of bridges where nearly every encounter is against dragons. We find Loki's Lute here, Edward's best weapon.

The next new floor we encounter is a cave. The doors in here are locked, and we need to give them items that we can find on this floor to open them. The first door is a picture of a dying tree. We give it some water. A picture of a small bear is given some honey. A picture of a lantern is given a torch, and a picture of a girl is given a doll.

Another new floor we find is a Floor of Remembrance based on one of the bigger parts of the Giant of Babil. Here we find the Mutsunokami, which combined with Sasuke's Katana, maxes out Edge's Attack.

Well, that's all for now. Next time, we have to do this again, because I still haven't gotten everything. And I still don't have every bestiary entry.

Don't worry too much, I'll try a and compress the remainder of the dungeon into 1 or 2 updates. I think there are only four things left before I'll move on to interlude:

  • Get the Nirvana for Porom
  • Get 4 more Adamant Armors (pretty much required for Brach)
  • Defeat Brach
  • Get the last 2 or 3 enemies in the bestiary

Just know that it may be a few days between updates now.
