Hi guys, today we are headed for the Sealed Cave, near Tomra. We approach the door at the entrance.

Brandish thou the seal-unravelling mark, and the path to the Dark Crystal shall be open.

We place Luca's Necklace on the door, which then gets struck by lightning and opens. In we go!

The Sealed Cave is for the most part a series of platforms connected by ropes. We follow the path to a door...

Cecil: The door has transformed into a monster!

What the crap? The Trap Door attacks us. It's quite easy. You see, it targets one person, so we know who it'll attack, then uses Ninth Dimension, an instant kill spell. It can be Reflected. They will all die easily. Lots of experience, too.

Nearly every door is like that. I hate this place. Come to think of it, I hate about half of the Underworld. We find a Kotetsu behind this door, but it's the same power as the Moonring Blade, which we can use from the back row. Not worth it.

This gets really ridiculous on B2. SIX Trap Doors, in a row. Behind one of them is the Lustrous Sword, which isn't very good at this point. Rydia learns Blizzaga and Edge learns Mirage while clearing this floor out. At the end of the section we find another useless Kotetsu and a Black Cowl, which is some better headgear for Edge.

B3 looks like a dead end at first, but in reality, there's a hidden door (not a trap, for once) to the south.

B4 starts with a Save Point, which due to all the damn Trap Doors, we need. We follow the path all the way down to B5, after which only one more Trap Door guards the way to the last Crystal. We grab it. Now we should be safe from whatever's on the moon that Golbez wants. Let's start to leave.

As we try to leave, the room starts shaking!

Cecil: The walls!

Rydia: They're moving!

Kain: Removing the Crystal must have triggered it!

Edge: So much for a smooth exit.

This isn't gonna be another Heroic Sacrifice, is it?

Actually, it isn't. We have to fight the Demon Wall. He counters magic by inflicting Gradual Petrify (I think it's 3 hits of Gradual Petrify = full Petrify) and slowly edges towards us. If he gets close to us, he starts using one hit KOs. Good thing Kain and Edge are ridiculously fast. With the ability to manipulate time on Rosa's side, it doesn't really last long.

Rydia: All right!

Edge: Nothing to it!

We head out. Simple, now that all the psychopathic doors are dead. Before leaving the dungeon, we remove Kain's equipment. The screen turns blue.

Cecil: What?

Golbez's music starts. Crap.

???(Quite obviously Golbez): Kain... You belong to me, Kain. Bring me the Crystal.

Cecil: Golbez! Kain!

Kain starts to act a bit strangely.

Rosa: Get a hold of yourself!

Kain: I'm... all right. I'm no longer under his control!

Then he punches Cecil and steals the Dark Crystal anyway.

Edge: What!?

Rosa: Kain!

Golbez: Now I can restore the Tower of Babil. At last, I shall reach the moon!

Cecil: Kain! Wake up!

Kain: ...

Rosa: Please! Kain!

Kain: With all the Crystals in hand, the way to the moon will open!

Edge: Stop!

Kain leaves.

Golbez: Mwahahaha!

Should have seen it coming. So now what? Next time, we figure that out. Then more side quests.
