I still don't know what's going on!

There were a lot of people trying to stop me from reaching the next gym master and saying she was insane, one of them even going so far as to claim to be the gym master herself. I managed to beat the real gym master though and she took the loss pretty well, so I don't see what the problem was.

Still, just to be on the safe side, I didn't ask about the wings.

Hey everyone! Did you think last installment was lacking in Drakuaza's stupidity? Then boy do I have an installment for you!

First off, we can FINALLY get into Lunaris City now. Apparently those rocket grunts blocking the way were waiting for me to beat Flandre for some reason. Still need the tea to get past the guards inside the gatehouses, but luckily I had already grabbed that.

Our next task is to clear out the Silph building, a plot kept 100% intact from the pokemon games. Why does Hina's Team Rocket want to take over Silph? No idea!

But before we check out Silph, let's check out the rest of Lunaris City!

This sign is a good start. All it tells me is to check out the new Ultra Seals, but starts off by calling me a faggot for some reason. What's really sad about all this is that Drakuaza probably thought he was being clever or even funny by throwing around swearing and derogatory terms like a monkey flinging its own feces.

Following that up, we have this guy. Whoa man! Check out how dark and edgy this hack is with random rocket grunts just swearing at you for no reason!

And this Rocket Grunt claims I did... what now? I... what?

Finally, Drakuaza decides to title drop again. Only this time it makes even less sense. Last I checked, Reisen was sane. She can CAUSE insanity, but she herself is sane.

I'm sure we'll find even more fun dialogue inside the Silph building itself, but let's procrastinate a bit more first. Afterall, now we can finally take on the fighting dojo!

Well, that's what I do next anyway, but it's hardly anything to get excited about. I mean, Tabby pretty much just dominated all the grunts. None of the battles against them are even worth mentioning.

So instead, let's skip straight to the dojo's master! Yep, it seems Yuugi is leading this dojo now! The Touhou characters usually prove to be a bit more interesting battle-wise. If nothing else, they usually have a full team. No interesting dialogue to start things off, though. It's literally the same dialogue the master has in Fire Red.

Anyway, battling Yuugi now. Yuugi leads with LwSuika, who Tabby oneshots with Psychosis. Next is Kongala. Anonymous gets a lucky crit and oneshots her. For LwElly, I switch back to Tabby and use Psychosis to oneshot her. LwYuugi is next and I let Thief take this one. She manages to oneshot her with Five Elements. Yuugi's final puppets are Toyohime and Yorihime. DyZenGar cuts through both of them. Or rather, Shadow Balls them. That's it, Yuugi beaten. Not really any more or less difficult than any other battle I've been in lately. Funny, a certain commenter on one of my videos told me the game would actually get hard when everything was level 100. Not seeing it.

For beating Yuugi, I get to choose from one of these two puppets. Oh joy. I take Toyohime. Yuugi also mentions that one of her pupils became a gym master, one of her few original lines of dialogue. Any guesses as to who the 8th gym master will be now? 'cause it ain't Hina!

Well. Guess it's time to stop procrastinating and go throw Team Rocket out of the Silph building now.

For some reason, I never like doing this part. This place just kinda feels... tedious I guess. It doesn't help that in the regular pokemon games you're constantly fighting trainers with pokemon that are severely underleveled compared to your own and usually unevolved. The reward for beating the grunts in the Silph building hardly feels like it's worth the PP it took to beat them.

Compounding that in this game is the fact that my own puppets are all level 100 now and I have more money than I know what to do with. In other words, ALL non-plot battles feel pretty pointless at this point. So I'm just going to try to avoid as many battles as I can here.

Easier said than done, though. I don't get very far in before I end up fighting this grunt. I think his sight range was extended. And apparently everyone is going to die? Could we be getting some plot details? Or are they just making a lame attempt at being edgy? Anyway, this guy just gets kicked aside like an empty can.

Going in here I got a bunch of items, including a Phoenix Down. Unlike Revives, these can apparently be used in battle and they fully revive a puppet. Nice. But, shouldn't there be a door here? A door I need a card key to get through? I mean, not that I'm complaining, but it seems like the Silph building might have been changed around more than I thought at a glance.

Looking around a bit more I'm finding more and more that the doors have all been removed. Erm, alright then? Guess I'll just keep beating people up and grabbing the free stuff.

Moving on, I run into one grunt who has a Rinnosuke. Grabbed a screenshot just incase you wanted to see him. I think he's pretty cool if nothing else. He's a water-type, though, as mentioned before. So Thief oneshots him. Make note of the level, too. All the major trainers have level 100 puppets but the grunts are STILL underleveled.

Eventually while wandering this place, I run into Pedro, one of the "Four Epic Bruthas". He challenges me with... Higurashi characters. In a double battle. Oh joy. Also, I just realized now that this floor is the first time I've seen warp panels. And I think the elevator was removed. Damn it. Anyway, the battle was still pretty easy. Thought I grabbed a screenshot of the two characters he sent out but apparently not...

And now for something completely random. Again, it's scary to think he probably thought he was being clever. And he keeps doing it!

On the way back to the pokecenter for a bit of healing, I miss my mark slightly and randomly get this message. Rightio. That's a pretty random glitch. All I did was run into the building...

Running back into the Silph building, I encounter another of the "Epic Bros". This one is rather clearly a "sis". I think.

Oh, and remember those fun-named rockets from before? Well, they're back! Rocket Grunt "Cunt"! Sigh. The worst part? In the Pokemon games, this particular grunt is one of the few with some interesting dialogue. After you beat him, he says something along the lines of "if I had gone straight as a trainer when I was your age" and trails off. He actually sounds remorseful for his actions. But, no, we can't have DEPTH in this hack! So instead, have more immature dialogue!

At least the free healing is still here. Makes this whole thing a bit less tedious when we have this place instead of running out to the pokecenter. Of course, when you're close to the healing spot in the Silph Building, there's something else you're close to.

The next rival battle.

This battle marks the first appearance of the dreaded "Dark Last Word" puppets, and Karen's bizarre hairstyle change. Seriously, the heck is up with that!?

Anyway, the only reason DLwSanae gives me trouble is because she has so few weaknesses. If I wanted to oneshot her like I do most puppets, I'd need a strong, STAB, bug, poison, or flying-type attack. And to get a puppet with enough power I'm pretty sure I'd need a Last Word or Dark Last Word myself, of which DLwHina is the only applicable option anyway. I end up having to sacrifice Neko-Chen, dealing a nice chunk of damage with Poison Claw so DarkKnight can finish her.

Other than that, pretty standard battle. Love how I manage to end it with a Master Spark. After beating her, Karen swears she'll destroy me someday. And I STILL have no explanation for her sudden change in character or why she thinks we were ever friends. She wasn't even introduced to us as a "childhood friend" like Gary was. She's literally introduced to us as our rival.

Beat another random grunt after Karen and then start talking to people. By talking to these random NPC's, I get PLOT DETAILS! So! Apparently Hina wants to get to this alternate "Dark World". You remember, right? That's supposed to be an alternate world for us to travel to. Only, it was never added in. What does going there have to do with remaking this world, though? Guess we'll never find out, because this is the last detail we really get.

Run into that Cervantes guy at the end of this particular floor. Figure I must be nearing the end now. He proves a bit more of a challenge this time thanks to a DLwReimu. That and I keep forgetting what types the legendary puppets are. DLwReimu can actually just barely survive a Superpower from DarkKnight, but I manage to finish her off with DyZenGar. With this battle in mind, though, I decide to replace DarkKnight's Brick Break with a TM I picked up here, Bulk Up. +1 attack and defense. I think if I use Bulk Up once, DarkKnight should be able to survive an attack from DLwReimu and then OHKO with Superpower.

After beating him I move on to the top floor and fight Shinku, confirming my suspicion. Yay! She leads with LwWriggle, who manages to survive a Master Spark. Coulda sworn a Thunderbolt almost beat one of these before. End up beating her with Green instead. Layla comes out and is beaten by DyZenGar. As is F-Remilia. Neko-Chen beats her Shanghai, a new legendary puppet, with Earthquake. She's Psychic/Fire. Ellis is beaten by DarkKnight, as usual. Finally, we have another Dark Last Word show up. DLwMarisa. 1000 base stat total, but still slower than my Neko-Chen and thus falls easily to her Earthquake. Really though, most Dark Last Word puppets are weaker than the S-Flandre I beat earlier anyway so...

Moving along, Suigintou blocks our path as well. Battling Suigintou, I lead with DarkKnight and she leads with Ellis. One Superpower and that's that. Then Hourai, a Psychic/Ice puppet, comes out. DyZenGar comes close to a OHKO with Shadow Ball/Petal Storm, but Hourai only uses Aeroblast in response and DyZenGar takes that easily. Overall easy win for DyZenGar. Thief manages to 2HKO the LwElly with Thunderbolt. After that is... DLwSanae. She manages to beat Green, though Green does get a Voodoo off. Neko-Chen finishes it with Poison Claw. Chen beats the F-Flandre that follows as well, with no Halo Band activating this time. Final puppet is Sariel. Thief blows her away with Master Spark.

Finally, nearing the end now. Time to go say hello in the traditional pokemon way. By battling here and completely derailing her evil plot. Whatever that evil plot was. World rotten, wants to remake the world, something about a dark world... blah, blah, blah. It's so completely disjointed there's really no making sense of how or why she was doing it.

Originally I meant to lead with Neko-Chen for this battle, but in spite of DLwUtsuho managing to survive DarkKnight's Rock Slide the battle goes even better than I could have imagined. Utsuho flinches, buying DarkKnight a free turn to use Bulk Up. This allows her to KO Utsuho and the DLwReimu that follows.

Almost screw up against DLwRemilia. I knew DyZenGar couldn't take her after an attack drop, so I pretty much need to sacrifice a puppet to get DyZenGar in without being subjected to Intimidate. DarkKnight had done more than enough at this point so I let her take the hit for DyZenGar. Was kinda surprised to see DarkKnight survive the attack, but Remilia outspeeds her anyway so it didn't matter. DyZenGar was then free to oneshot Remilia with Petal Storm, getting an attack boost in the process. If I was smart I would have kept her in against DLwHina, too, since Hina is Dark/Poison in that form. Oh well.

Neko-Chen oneshots DLwHina and DLwMarisa each with Earthquake. Facing some pretty powerful puppets now and still dropping them like a bad habit. DLwSanae comes out last, dear god I hate her. Chen gets off one Poison Claw, weakening her enough for Thief to finish it with Master Spark. That's another battle ended with Master Spark. It's easy to picture it being a dramatic finish in your head.

Hina doesn't have much of interest to say after I beat her. So much for getting any insight into the plot of this mess. Nice grammar though.

Defeated, Team Rocket leaves. So now we can go talk to the NPC's and... oh, real cute, Drakuaza. No, really, real cute. This dialogue simply oozes maturity, doesn't it? I don't want to think of the things Drakuaza might have been oozing when he wrote it, so let's just grab the Master Seal and get the hell out of here.

On the way out, I talk to a few more NPC's who I had skipped out on before. It's hard to tell what scientists are trainers and what scientists are just random NPC's when you're going through the building so I just avoided them when I could.

Not much to say, though. Drakuaza drops his favorite word again, while misspelling another of his favorite words. Seriously, this hack started out pretty mediocre but as it goes on it just becomes more and more immature like Drakuaza was somehow mentally regressing as he made this hack.

Well, at least that plot is over and done with. Like I said before, the last gym master isn't Hina, so there's no continuation of the plot to my knowledge. So in the next installment I'll just be beating up the remaining two gym masters and then we'll almost be in the clear.

I have no words. Dumbkuaza managed to screw up writing the plot of a Pokemon game? Seriously?

I'll need to find a working text editor so I can edit all of the immaturity out. I doubt I'll be able to happily play through the game with it all being shoved in my face.
