To round things up, in the past while since the last update I've leveled a bit, got some better items (never knew you could do THAT at the Assembly!) and I'm pretty much broke since I spent all my cash on new items and healing stuff.
So here I am about to tackle the White Death. Hopefully it is them enemy doing the dying, and not me.
Oh noes, Flonne is cornered! She whips out some magic, and- OH GOD A FUCKING DRAGON. Damnit.
Also, those weird flappy enemy things that poison me and are kinda annoying.
My Prinnies, now literally good for nothing but being meatshields, go forth, and the rest of the group stays behind them.
The flying thingies surround my group, but I destroy most of them in two turns. All my Prinnies are killed, though one did survive a whole attack from the Dragon.
Punchmaster is, sadly, slain, but I get my revenge by defeating Flonne, leaving only the Dragon.
Etna dies, and I've got Aristotle and Laharl flanking the Dragon. They take turns whacking it back and forth.
It dies pretty soon afterward.
Flonne is shcoked at my victory, as most bosses are. Etna and Laharl have fun laughing at Flonne and Celestia for not knowing that Kingy has been dead for two years.
Then Flonne gets all sad. Awww... After a conversation on love and how Laharl doesn't like it, Flonne decides to stick around in the Netherworld to find out more about demons.
Angel Trainee Flonne joined your party!
Heh. These end of chapter things are weird, but hilarious.
So, next chapter. It starts off like any other, with a cutscene. Apparently Prinnies do get paid, meaning they're at least valued more than slaves. It seems that I've got to get some money to pay for the Prinnies. How much do they get paid, anyways!?
More importantly, I'm gonna check out what I can buy, and what new Assembly stuff there is.
It's All quiet on the Storefront, but the Assembly has a bunch of new things, like A Dragon for hire, Scouts, Rogues, and a Ronin. Apparently the Scout is good with Guns, but the Ronin is (extremely) good with Axes, Swords and Spears, of which I have several. So I'll get one of those... later, once I have 400 mana. I have 312 right now with Punchmaster, so I'll just wait and kill some dudes before coming back. In the mean time, I'll do another Promotion Exam with Punchmaster. I win.
With all that done, I'll say I'm done for now. Next time, I'll be back to steal some guy's riches. Yay!
Comments
- Get Laharl up to Lv. 20 before anyone else. Trust me, it'll be worth it.
- It's probably a good idea to get yourself a Scout, so you get more ranged attack. (Name: Scout. :P)
- For sheer hitting power, consider getting soneone with an axe. Those things have the biggest attack stat.
- Also, throw your prinnies. It's good for working off tension.
