After some more digging of pond space, a Newtgat appears, as does a Quackberry.
The Newtgat visited because I had 20 sq. pm of water, will visit when I have 30 sq. pm and also have watercress growing, will become a resident when it's eaten 3 watercress flowers, and will be ready for romance when it's eaten a Raisant, and one other requirement.
The Quackberry visited because of my 30 sq. pm of water, will visit when I have 40 and a corn plant, will become of resident when I have 40 and it's eaten a piece of bread, and will be ready for romance when it's eaten 2 bluebells.
I finsh digging ponds for now, and start seeding the garden with grass, stopping briefly to plant a corn seed Seedos gives me.
I'm hardly done seeding grass when a piñata falls ill.
Day 17
After finding the sick Sparrowmint, I call Patch out. He arrives with time to spare.
The Quackberry visits.
A Sparrowmint is bitten by a Sour Sherbat, so I have to call Patch again. He makes it.
Day 18
I buy a pumpkin and mark it to be tinkered. It turns into a Jack-o'-Lantern.
Which is good, because a Sour Sherbat shows up. I place the JOL in its projected path, which eventually works. It tries for one last bite of Sparrowmint, but I direct the Sparrowmint elsewhere just in time, and the Sour Sherbat cocoons itself to change into a tame one. And now, I have a new piece of Tower of Sour! Each piece keeps a different kind of pest away.
Some Whirlms dance because I've earned 6 achievements.
I Save and Quit.
Next time: Day 19!
