"Upper Body & Arms"

I really need to pay attention to the video descriptions more. This one says "Sorry guys for the confusion - we had to re-upload this video, so this took our last video's place, number-wise! Keep up with us, HYBRIDS!"

So... this was supposed to be uploaded before the last one? But the last one already comes before this video so— Hold on, give me a second.

Anyway, the title of this episode is "Upper Body & Arms." Most anyone already well-versed in Slender Man lore would know about his long, seemingly prehensile arms as one of his defining characteristics. Just felt like bringing that up.

0:03 - Crap, why can't I understand what Vincent is— Oh, phew. I thought that was another one of the Slender Man's new powers: making anyone close by go deaf and/or dumb.

0:07 - Yet another opening credits remix.

0:16 - I can't help but keep subscribing to the belief that if you've trying to exercise with minimal weights/effort, you're doing it wrong.

0:29 - This is new, we're seeing Vince lift weights in the basement. It doesn't even looked lived in.

0:37 - Oh wow, I never noticed: this part being filmed is a mirror. (Don't turn around, Jeff.)

1:12 - Shift in camera angle, this time we're seeing Vince from the side. You can tell because of that washing machine in the shot.

1:38 - Now we're viewing Vince from the front. Worryingly there's a lot of dark shadows in the background.

1:55 - Upper left, I think I just saw something move. What is that? Something walking by? Wait, that makes no sense!

2:04 - It's a window! It's him! AAAAAGH HE'S STARING RIGHT AT US! (Us? The camera? Jeff? With what? Ow, my head.)

2:06 - He's leaning in closer! Goawaygoawaygoawaygoaway

2:08 - I know there's always that chance this could be explained away somehow... but crap, was that light static in the background?

2:10 - WHY DID THE POWER GO OUT MID-SENTENCE?!

2:14 - ... Is Vince addressing Evan? In a funny Schwarzenegger accent? (Wait, so Evan was there the whole time during the filming? Whoops.)

2:22 - "Well, that's the first time every bulb in my basement blew out at once," said Evan. Uh oh.

2:30 - No, he is not there in the window. Small relief.

2:40 - I wonder how one go about shopping around for a "no-name flex machine."

2:49 - Heh heh heh heh, he said "plethora."

2:56 - "What the hell." *throws instruction manual* Our heroes, ladies and gentlemen!

2:57 - That's an indistinct shadow in the corner of the basement. Get a grip.

3:24 - Those wires/black strings hanging from the machine in the background are getting highly distracting.

3:50 - Aah! The shadow moved! Wait, was that Evan's shadow? Jeff's shadow?

3:51 - ... it moved out of the shot. I so freaking hate shadows right now.

4:01 - That was definitely something fishy, because now Evan won't stop looking back at that corner. And apparently Vince noticed it too. Yay! I'm not losing my mind!

4:08 - Cut to Vince lifting weights again, because suspicious moving shapes in the background and basement lights suddenly going out are no big deal at all, guys.

4:11 - "It looks like you're missing something." "What am I missing?" "Atmosphere." Wait, is it Episode 6 already?

4:18 - Oh, he was talking about music.

4:27 - Oh, he's a Motorhead fan. Because that T-shirt he wears totally didn't tip us off sooner.

4:31 - Oh my God! He's forgotten how to work a CD player!

4:33 - "That wasn't Motorhead." And here I thought they were experimenting with a new sound.

4:38 - Could it be? Does he actually look... surprised?

4:33 - I don't know, I always think the utter fear of being pursued by some mysterious entity is enough to get my blood pumping.

4:49 - This looks like the wrap-up for the episode. A lot of shadows. I have a bad feeling about this.

4:52 - Apparently so does Evan.

4:54 - And it looks like he's making ol' Vinny kind of edgy too.

5:02 - I do NOT need any moving shadows right about now.

And that's the end of the episode.

So what have we learned today? Oh, some stuff about exercise machines and workout music and Evan having a crappy basement.

Next up: Episode 6!
