Commander's Log - May 1, 2040
Another month, another batch of new recruits. Just in time, too - Redback Base just picked up a distress call from the Brazilian Union vessel Hugo Chavez. They're reporting that an Alien submarine has disabled their engines, and that Alien attackers have boarded the vessel.
I've dispatched Triton-One to deal with the threat, though the Coelecanth will not be deployed; the tight quarters of the vessel means that its utility will be limited.
