MANY YEARS AGO PRINCE VIDEO GAMES "NINTENDO" CREATED ONE OF THE LEGEND WITH ZELDA. PRINCE "ATLUS" HAD ONE OF THE LEGEND WITH 3D DOT GAME HEROES. HE PUBLISHED IT WITH HELP FROM FROM SOFTWARE TO PAY TRIBUTE TO ZELDA. LET'S PLAY THE GAME "WILLY" TO SAVE THE KINGDOM.

So, yeah...what we have here is 3D Dot Game Heroes, a homage to Nintendo's famous The Legend Of Zelda franchise, released on the definitely-not-made-by-Nintendo Play Station 3. This liveblog will be different from all of my previous ones, in that I now have access to a screenshot capture tool, helpfully provided by the game itself. Technology Marches On, but apparently video game plots don't.

When we start our adventure, we're given a whole mess of character meshes to use. The differences between them are only cosmetic, as the only things that matter are character class and gender, which determine your starting stats. The first six characters listed are the "canon" heroes, and are labeled as follows:

  • Frum and Sonya, "Hero" class units. They have high HP.
  • Altus and Meri, "Royal" class units, dressed like a prince and princess, respectively. Their stats are balanced.
  • Segall and Requis, "Scholar" class heroes. They have low HP, but higher starting magic.

The rest of the characters on the list are creations of the character editor, which I've never been very good at using to design my own character. One half were designed by the Atlus and From Software teams, and the rest are user-submitted (except for Sackboy...he's everywhere these days). The fates have decided that Frum, one of the descendants of the legendary hero, will receive the Call to Adventure. He's a "Hero" type, which means he starts out with higher HP than the Royal or Scholar classes, but with less starting magic.

I know this has nothing to do with this topic but would anyone know what the quote is that Dutch says on Transformers Dark of the Moon when he is hacking into the drawbridge to lower it for Sam? It starts something like " It's very difficult but..." Please help me finish the quote.
