The dapple dualies are a member of the dualies class that do not have stellar range but deal significant damage, their roll consumes a lot of ink and they tend to have kits centered around support.
The Dapple Dualies Nouveau is the variant kit, its sub is Toxic Mist and its special is inkstorm.
These have quickly become my favored weapon in turf war due to how well they ink and toxic mist is fun to play around with, inkstorms makes getting kills faster as well as helping out quite well in Splat Zones.
I recommend some ink Saver (Sub) and Sub power up to extend the throw distance of your Toxic mist, Ninja squid for gettin close is a pretty good deal too.
I'll be doing 5 matches per installment, since i cannot write the installment I'll be memorizing the matches while i play and immediately exiting room an writing it down, i have a good memory for matches so it should not be too difficult.
I should preface all this with my own level, I've gotten to level 64 (I don't know how either) and my favored class are shooters, least are chargers.
Alright, let me get y handy dandy punchable stress ball out, this is going to be a salted roller coaster.
Maps in rotation are Starfish Mainstage and The Reef.
Match 1 Stage: The Reef Sad display, enemy team started the match with a disconnector and was absolutely wrecked because of that, this game has a rampant Disconnector issue, it isn't rare to see a team lose because the match started with them missing a team mate or for you to lose due to the same thing, having a disconnector is insanely punishing.
This is due to the games way of handling online, unlike some other shooters splatoon 1 and 2 are "P 2 P" or Peer to Peer" meaning that one persons lag extends to the entire room, should the 'host' disconnect, the entire room will die with him and the Disconnected players will likely face a 6 minute ban.
Not the best first atch for the liveblog, I managed to net 6 or so kills, that isn't very much to be honest.
Match 2 Stage: Starfish Mainstage
So much spam, the entire enemy team had some of the spammiest specials, bomb launchers, Tenta Missiles, Sting Rays, and had several layers of specil charge up too.
Managed to win as outside of using specials the enemy weren't all that good and they were being held down by a bad Squiffer, Chargers make or break teams, there is no in between in their skill level, they're either terrible, or absolute gods of aim.
Dapple dualies struggle on Starfish, starfish is a stage where killing players isn't too useful as getting back to the action is easy, it's more wide then it is long.
Match 3 Stage: The Reef
Ahhh boy, first 'G&K' player, and per usual, he sucks, G&Ks are a group made by a pair of youtubers, forget the name, and they're some of the worst, often laggiest players I've met, there's a few clans who are terrible, another being the 'WUT' or Woomies united Today, a group centered around squid partying and ruining matches.
Speaking of Squid parties, the G&K immediately went to work on making this match hell, squid partying and doing nearly nothing all match, if the enemy team didn't have a disconnector we'd likely have lost.
Got no kills since a roller kept harassing me, further confusing me as to why we won.
Surprised that I've won all my matches so far, probably jinxed it by writing this.
Match 4 Stage: Starfish Mainstage
Match hasn't even started and we have like 5 low level (under level 10) players in the lobby, great.
Room is refusing to fill, likely dead, it happens sometimes, the games matchmaking isn't stellar, at all.
Got absolute garbo team mates, literal crapshow where we couldn't get out of the spawn since none of my team had any idea what to do, i despise team mates like this, and these were the high levels on my team, first lost and we lost by 10% ink coverage against the enemy teams 80%, I managed to net 6 kills but it didn't matter as starfish makes killing pointless.
Only doing one more, lost all patience that match, probably take a day for this stress ball to re-inflate itself anyways. lol
Match 5 Stage: The Reef
We won but it was about as fun as breaking every bone in my body, octobrushes are my least favorite weapon to fight, they has a BS amount of range and it's a literal flurry when you fight one.up front, you need range to deal with them and even they they can get into your face in an instant.
Found a WUT player but he wasn't bad, for once, the enemy team was mostly cowardly and backed off wih the octobrush being the only guy actually fighting (unfortunately for me) with other guys only inking and running when confronted.
