Prologue: Welcomes and information

Hello, all who are currently reading this! This is the opening page of what will be the storage place for all my liveblogs of the Fire Emblem series of games. In here, I will be updating chapter by chapter as I play through the games and hopefully make those updates as fun to read as possible!

The next page will be a Table of Contents, since this will eventually get fairly large, and it will make categorizing which games are being covered in which liveblog installments much easier.

Continue forth onto the next page, and hopefully enjoy your time reading!

Sedgar and Wolf are Generals with 60% Speed growths. I have no idea what the programmers were thinking or if it was on purpose.

Every level with an arena surrounded by item shops I used up tons of time. I was very disappointed that Tiki could not use one. It was a bit hard figuring out the best money amount as for risk vs. reward.

Shame that two among Jeorge, Jake, or Norne are going to bite the dust. These gaiden chapter runs are depressing. I'm stil not sure if I'll ever get around to doing them.

Wow. It's really good to know that everyone except Jeorge turned out really great. I guess that is to be expected at 20/20 but still.

I take it the rest of the game is going to be a cake walk?

Yeah, Sedgar and Wolf are just generally ridiculous. And yet, they somehow don't utterly break the endgame solely due to having low bases that prevent them from capping most of their stats. Still crazy awesome units throuhg.

I used about 174 turns for this chapter. I'm fairly sure I'd have given an LTC'er an aneurysm from my flagrant misuse of countless turns. I also ended up with over 300,000 gold, though that's just due to how long it took. I will admit though, that I used savestates after someone finished their run of the arena so as not to lose all of that work.

And what's this about Jeorge, Jake, or Norne dying? I would kill off Caeda and Tiki before letting them die, since they are party units (also, why Norne? She's awesome!). I'm gonna sacrifice Maria and Minerva on chapter 20, which saddens me, but is a necessary evil.

The game up until about Camus the Sable will be a cakewalk, and that is around the point that the enemies start posing some amount of threat again. The actual Finale and a couple chapters before may prove fairly tough.
