Prologue: Welcomes and information
Hello, all who are currently reading this! This is the opening page of what will be the storage place for all my liveblogs of the Fire Emblem series of games. In here, I will be updating chapter by chapter as I play through the games and hopefully make those updates as fun to read as possible!
The next page will be a Table of Contents, since this will eventually get fairly large, and it will make categorizing which games are being covered in which liveblog installments much easier.

I've never encountered any SD gaiden chapter (and, given my attachment to characters, it will likely stay that way), so I'd like to see what those chapters are like. Otherwise, I don't care.

I think you mentioned going for Ymir before because Warrior, but if you don't want him, no need to waste the time.
Of course, I do think that this is something you should have decided on ahead of time. Maybe poor Caesar and Radd and Wendell and Midia and whoever else you had to kill off would still be with us.
But yeah, I can see why you did it in the first place (more EXP)...but also see why you are changing your mind (not enough EXP to be worth it in the long run)

@Doctrain: In other runs with smaller teams, I'll likely be going to them (and I know I'll be going to 17x come my mage run, since the unit there is pretty much one of a kind), but the bow team turned out larger than expected, so things got a bit crowded.
@Otherarrow: Yeah, I probably should have decided this in advance, but I hadn't expected to have such a large team, since I didn't really plan this party out in advance. I think I'll still go to them, since I've already started, and the extra experience and items can be nice, although there is no way I'm going to 24x. I'll probably pick up Ymir (it helps that he appears on the last typical Gaiden of the game, so by the time I get him I won't need to kill anymore units), though I may or may not use him.

A quick crit and normal shot did away with this elephant shooting abomination.
Are there are elephants in this one or am I misunderstanding?

The Pachyderm weapon that the boss uses was called Elephant in the Japanese version. He was just making a reference to that.

Actually, Pachyderm also refers to Elephants (it's one of their scientific classifications, not sure what though).

So his weapon is named Pachyderm? Odd.
I wonder if there will ever be war elephants in Fire Emblem...
