Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, one and all!

This is a liveblog detailing a simple self-imposed challenge in Persona 4. Having completed the game on Normal difficulty, I felt the need to tackle Expert!

However, there's always baggage when it comes to challenging oneself on a New Game+, as I am doing, mostly to access the extra bosses on this route. As a result I've opted to make use of a simple solution to this problem:

I will not abuse the Persona Compendium. I may only summon Personas that I have already obtained through Shuffle Time! or Fusion.

I will, admittedly, be taking advantage of my maxed Social Stats (Expression, Understanding, Knowledge, Courage, and Diligence) and a fairly large yen purse from my last playthrough, but I feel that it will not degrade the challenge TOO much.

So without further ado, we shall now dive into one year in the life of Yu Narukami, and the strange journey he will have, finding that an innocent sin could lead to the world's eternal punishment...

I am liking Narukami's insights into stuff like Shadow Yosuke's appearance and his own first Persona usage.

...I always found it strange when they referred to Social Links as such in the dialouge. I get it, but it seems to lean on the fourth wall a bit IMO.

It just seemed like an eloquent way of saying "personal bonds" to me, and given how gentlemanly Igor is, it doesn't bother me when he or one of his assistants use the term.

I guess so. It's less awkward sounding than "Commu Links" from the Japanese versions at least.
