Prologue: Welcomes and information

Hello, all who are currently reading this! This is the opening page of what will be the storage place for all my liveblogs of the Fire Emblem series of games. In here, I will be updating chapter by chapter as I play through the games and hopefully make those updates as fun to read as possible!

The next page will be a Table of Contents, since this will eventually get fairly large, and it will make categorizing which games are being covered in which liveblog installments much easier.

Continue forth onto the next page, and hopefully enjoy your time reading!

Rather than wait for the gate to open, I went around the sides and broke open the walls, splitting the enemy forces.

Of course most of them swarmed one side anyway.

...There were breakable walls? Didn't even notice, to be honest. Probably would have found them if the gates didn't open on their own soon enough. Also, can the gate be opened by a thief? I almost brought Astol, but the sheer number of enemies discouraged me from doing so.

Thieves can't open the gate.

Berserking the Swordmaster was a nice touch.

Despite the dialogue I never saw any enemies going after houses, the central cluster was too busy fighting me.

I don't know if you noticed but in this game Light Brands always deal 10 damage at range. Which means the one you get at some early point can be quite useful for any weak characters, and later on makes a couple of bosses like Gel easier to tackle.

So that is why it hurt Clarine and Miledy for the same amount of damage. They have basically reversed defenses, so I was really confused as to how it worked in this game. That's a good thing to know, thanks.
