Introduction
Back in 2004, before the advent of Yu Gi Oh The Abridged Series, I posted a liveblog-like synopsis of the early YGO manga for the folks at Television Without Pity. It occurs to me that you folks might like to see it.
If you're only familiar with the series through the dub, or are only hearing about it for the first time now, you should be made aware that originally YGO wasn't about card games! This gives it a certain variety of plotline the later volumes lack.
As you know, I feed on your comments, so let me know you're reading this, and any potholes or bluelinks I should edit in!

Favorite Egyptian artifact... real or fictional? Whatever, it's still N'Kantu, the Living Mummy.
This right here is about the point where I gave up on the series. As much as I liked the anime, the story just started to bore me starting around here.
