You may already know this, but Mongu was an early Iron Man or Avengers foe (I think Cap's Kooky Quartet) who ruled a small puppet state for the Commies. The idea was that he was a giant of a man who could personally smash any dissenter or rebel, causing the natives to accept the Red yoke. But the good guys exposed him as the small, cowardly man he actually was.
