* AdaptationDisplacement: The TV series is a lot more popular than the stage show and the radio show.
* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: Happens at least once per episode.
** "He's so bright and milky-white, shining down upon the grou-ou-ound. EV'RYBODY LOOK AT DE MOON!"
** Searching for the New Sound in particular is a very pretty if psychedelic number.
* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: At least once an episode.
** Arguably, the whole show is one big BLAM due to its lack of any concrete continuity and [[QuirkyWork overall nonsensical premise]].
* CrossesTheLineTwice: Many instances, but the Hitcher is the number one offender.
** Even more so in the Book of Boosh where it's revealed his favorite hobbies are "Playing cards and raping".
*** Yet another Hitcher example: In the first live show, he shows off the freshly-severed heads of Howard and Vince, then proudly proclaims (and demonstrates) to the audience how he had his devilishly cockney way with them. Decapitating the main characters? Shocking! [[ForTheEvulz Fucking their remains?]] ''Hilarious!''
* FanonDiscontinuity: An odd example. While most fans don't dislike the show's last episode, "The Chokes," many prefer to view "Party" as the true GrandFinale, and will advise new fans to watch that one last instead. On another note, some would prefer to pretend "The Priest and the Beast" doesn't exist due to its use black/brownface, racial stereotyping, and [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking Howard and Vince barely being in it.]]
* FanPreferredCouple: Despite the fact that Howard and Mrs. Gideon were never actually a couple and it was obvious that she was never meant to be a serious contender for Howard's affections, it doesn't stop fans ''hating'' her, probably because she distracted from the {{UST}} between Howard and Vince. Many breathed a sigh of relief when she did not appear in the other two seasons. [[NoNameGiven The Pencil Case Girl]] received the same treatment.
* HarsherInHindsight: In the live DVD from 2006, the absolutely vile and gleefully rape-happy Hitcher is described as a Creator/JimmySavile impersonation. Shortly after his 2011 death, Savile was revealed to have been a [[SerialRapist serial sexual predator]] who targeted children in particular and took extensive measures to cover up his crimes.
* HollywoodHomely: Howard, generally played for laughs. Much is made of Howard's supposed unattractiveness, his "tiny eyes", thin hair, and apparently horrifying nude body. He's generally dressed in rumpled or tacky clothing and bad hair that makes him look worse than he really is. But in real life, Julian Barratt is quite a good looking man and has plenty of fangirls.
* HoYay: Has its own [[HoYay/TheMightyBoosh page]].
* MemeticMolester: Old Gregg. "Do you love me?"
** ''#Pelt the rabbit in his big white face~ Pelt it, pelt it#''
** The Crack Fox, considering he tells Vince at one point he wants to "make you wear a little dress and hurt you."
* MemeticMutation:
** "I'm Old Gregg!"
*** This one is so bad that many people will shout this with enthusiasm and yet have no idea the show exists.
** "Who the f-- is John Simm?!?"
** "I'm the spirit of jazz"
** "OW!! Man, my hat's on fire!!"
** [[Series/DoctorWho John Simm's The Master!]] [[Series/{{Scrubs}} How dare he.]]
** Everyone gather 'round! No, not you, Fire/Naan Bread/Extreme Sports Calendar.
* MoralEventHorizon: In "Strange Tale of the Crack Fox", Vince lets Howard take the fall for him and get fired because it results in him getting a ''nice cape''. Likewise, in "Call of the Yeti", in exchange for the location of the titular Yeti, Howard looks the other way toward Kodiak Jack attempting to rape Vince.
** Dixon Bainbridge is happy to murder, mutate and con anyone and anything just to earn himself an extra Euro
* NightmareFuel: [[NightmareFuel/TheMightyBoosh Has its own page.]]
* RetroactiveRecognition:
** Martin Trenamen from ''Series/TheInbetweeners'' appears as a repairman that can be summoned by a magic flute.
** Tom Meeten from ''Series/NoelFieldingsLuxuryComedy'' is Lance Dior.
* {{Tearjerker}}:
** Vince sitting by the side of a dying Bollo in Season 1. Despite some japes and gallows humor between the two, it's actually played rather straight, with a fittingly somber soundtrack as they reminisce over the good times they've had. [[spoiler: [[MomentKiller Right up until Vince puts a sheet over Bollo's resting face and Bollo asks him what he thinks he's doing]].]]
** Howard's "Isolation" song. The song is essentially him coming to the realisation that life will pass him by no matter what he does. For people who've had to give up on their dreams, it's truly heartbreaking.
* TheWoobie: Howard; when he's not being a complete stuffed-shirt, he's usually a combination of this and TheChewToy.
