* ArchivePanic: The Cartoon Hero is probably one of the most prolific reviewers outside of Website/ChannelAwesome with 350 episodes and counting.
* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic:
** "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2Yb5jzRTBI The Greatest Show Unearthed]]" by Creature Feature. When combined with the [[NightmareFuel nightmare-inducing animations]] in the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbNryaK7DIs intro]] to ''So Bad It's Horrible Halloween'', the result is pretty CreepyAwesome.
** Season 5 had the song It's Not My Time by Music/ThreeDoorsDown and it matched perfectly with the imagery shown during the intro. Just perfect.
* BrokenBase:
** As of 2016 he brought up his politician beliefs (particular with plenty of {{take that}}s against UsefulNotes/DonaldTrump) which some people don't mind but made other people feel annoyed and/or say will [[UnintentionalPeriodPiece date his videos in no time]].
** His ''WesternAnimation/RockADoodle'' review. A decent review that brings up his own opinions or a copycat (if angrier) version of the [[WebVideo/TheNostalgiaCritic Nostalgia Critic]]'s review of it?
* CriticProof: In the beginning, the Hero had a low-quality camera, clearly read from a script, and at first didn't even have a real personality — yet somehow, on the TGWTG forums and in his later videos, his views were almost even with ''WebVideo/DiamandaHagan''. To be fair, though, he did fix those problems later.
* EnsembleDarkhorse:
** Number 6 is very popular amongst the fans because of his married couple like interactions with the Hero which are amongst the funniest moments of the series.
* FriendlyFandoms: With ''WebVideo/AnimeAbomination,'' ''WebVideo/TVTrash,'' and ''WebVideo/TheHardcoreKid,'' due to their occasional crossovers.
* HeartwarmingInHindsight:
** In his ''WesternAnimation/HeyArnoldTheMovie'' review, he said that ''WesternAnimation/HeyArnoldTheJungleMovie'' would probably never be made due to being stuck in development hell for over 10 years. [[http://variety.com/2016/tv/news/hey-arnold-the-jungle-movie-nickelodeon-revival-2017-1201794474/ Several months later…]]
** At the end of his ''WesternAnimation/SamuraiJack'' review, he gives a speech about never giving up your dreams and he also tells his audience that just because someone says your work is terrible and you don't deserve another chance, that you should never stop doing what you love to do. About two years later, ''Samurai Jack'' finally got its chance to continue.
* HePannedItNowHeSucks:
** His ''Anime/FinalFantasyTheSpiritsWithin'' review got some heat from audiences who felt that he was too mean to this movie.
** He got some heat from the DCEU fanbase for his scathing attack on ''Film/ManOfSteel'', which he even acknowledged and apologized for in his ''WesternAnimation/JusticeLeagueWar'' review… only for him to make fun of ''Film/BatmanVSupermanDawnOfJustice'', pretty much undoing his apology in the process. (Though to be fair, he was much nicer about that.)
* SugarWiki/HeReallyCanAct: In the VideoGame/TalesOfSymphonia review, he starts off on the verge of tears due to [[spoiler: Six's death in the previous episode]]. And for some audience members, his delivery got them choked up as well.
* HilariousInHindsight: During his review of ''WesternAnimation/{{Delgo}}'', he wonders why it was on the DarthWiki/SoBadItsHorrible page, due to him finding that the film was more generic and dull than “horrible.” Indeed, this was ''exactly'' the reason the film was removed from the page just under a year later.
** During the beginning of the ''Alice in Wonderland'' review, which was also the last part of ''March of the So Bad, It's Horribles'', he found it “messed up” that ''WesternAnimation/{{Delgo}}'' was on the DarthWiki/SoBadItsHorrible page but ''WesternAnimation/{{Foodfight}}'' wasn't. Several years later everyone seems to have come realized this as well since the former was removed from the site while the latter one was added to it.
** In mid-July of 2023, Eli did a Patreon-requested video talking about ''WesternAnimation/{{Cybersix}}'' and how it can be bought on [=DVD=], even though said [=DVD=]s had fallen out of print. A few weeks after that, Creator/DiscotekMedia announced that they would be re-releasing ''Cybersix'' on Blu-ray.
* InferredHolocaust: One apparently happened [[spoiler: in the future Number Six came from. We even hear the last few moments of numbers 7-9…]]
* SpecialEffectsFailure: During the ''In Search of the Titanic'' (a.k.a. ''Tentacolino'') review, there's a flash when [[spoiler: the Cartoon Villain kills Nina Galas/alternate good WebVideo/DiamandaHagan]] but it's not until a second later that you hear the explosion.
* TearJerker:
** The beginning of his ''VideoGame/TalesOfSymphonia'' review.
** In his ''WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender'' review: The "In Honor of Mako" was already quite touching in the series, but what is just as emotional is that immediately after this scene we get to see the Hero doing a MilitarySalute towards Creator/{{Mako}}.
** The SeriesFinale. Hoo boy, the series finale: [[spoiler: Hero dies after saving the world one more time. Six then chooses to save his life by sacrificing himself by combining their minds in a new reincarnated mind of a newborn child from another universe.]] [[SugarWiki/HeReallyCanAct Eli Stone's performance where Six]] [[spoiler:reacts to the Hero's inevitable demise]] really sells the whole episode.
** Meta: Eli Stone had announced to retire the Cartoon Hero in 2018, which he managed to achieve in 2019 with the release of his 350th episode, which still hits hard with a lot of fans.
