* AngstDissonance: His main reason for why he doesn't like the ''VideoGame/MegaManX'' series, finding that X comes off as [[{{Wangst}} too whiny]] even before his {{Flanderization}} set in, especially when compared to how ''Mega Man'' proper has no qualms taking down the bad guys regardless of any moral ambiguity if it means protecting people.
* ArchivePanic: Roahm's been at this for over a decade; with over seventy-eight Robot Masters, plus several fortress/miscellaneous stages (all of which vary wildly in length/difficulty), watching the entire Perfect Run series can be quite daunting. Even outside the Perfect Run series, many of his projects have upward of 50 videos; ''Secret of Mana'' has 75, ''Pokémon Emerald'' has 87, ''Megaman Battle Network 3'' has a nice round ''one hundred'' and ''[=MaGMML2=]'' by itself has almost ''one hundred and twenty''. This isn't counting all the miscellaneous videos he's posted, so good luck getting through all of it!
* BadassDecay:
** Elec Man went from a 9/10 to a 6/10 after Roahm found out a way to [[AIBreaker completely break his AI.]]
** To a lesser extent, Dragon Nezumi in the Nezumiman runs got a few points docked from his difficulty rating after Roahm discovered he has a huge blind spot.
** Charge Man's rating went from 6/10 to 3/10 after an A.I. exploit was found.
** Blade Man caused quite a bit of trouble during Roahm's blind run of ''VideoGame/MegaMan10'', and was seemingly shaping up to be ''10'''s Nightmare Boss. By the time he got around to perfect-running the game, however, Roahm had managed to [[AIBreaker break Blade Man's A.I. wide open]], to the point that Blade Man only got a ''1/10''.
** From a non-boss standpoint, Roahm frequently used a V3 [=AirMan=] chip [[DiskOneNuke he got early on]] in the ''Battle Network 2'' LP, but he started to get less and less useful as the game progressed, to the point where he was eventually abandoned entirely.
* BreatherBoss:
** The ONLY reason why he didn't give Ring Man's level a 10/10 is because [[HardLevelsEasyBosses Ring Man is one]].
** He also considers Alpha from ''Mega Man Battle Network 3'' to be this so long as you have a cannon program advance in your folder.
* BreatherLevel:
** In his sense, when going through an easy Robot Master after defeating a hard one (i.e. Needle Man or Quick Man).
** Speaking of [[ThatOneBoss Quick Man]], he considers ''VideoGame/MegaMan3''[='=]s Wily Stage 1 a major example... where after the pain that was the Quick Man Doc Robot, he didn't even get hit once.
* EnsembleDarkhorse: Despite [[ActingForTwo "appearing"]] in the entirety of two videos, there's been a lot of interest in [[MirrorSelf OpRoahm.]]
* GoddamnedBoss:
** Roahm only gave Power Piston from ''VideoGame/MegaMan6'' a 5/10 for difficulty, but found the boss long, drawn-out, and loud.
** He also has this opinion on the Devil bosses, as they're very pattern-based (and easy for him to dodge once he has the pattern), but very long and drawn-out fights, with very short windows of vulnerability.
* HarsherInHindsight: Roahm spent a good deal of time debating rather or not to take a January break to start off 2014. Then his appendix ruptured.
** [[https://youtu.be/saYs-7fs1g0?t=8m25s "That fan had opinions."]][[labelnote:Context]]The Wily Fortress levels of the [[{{VideoGame/MakeAGoodMegaManLevelContest}} MaGMML Contest]] were created by the judges. Roahm's fans thought the judges were unfair, as most of them didn't rate the submitted levels very highly yet many thought that the judge levels were bland on the verge of bad. The toxic backlash in Roahm's Youtube comments got so bad that he cancelled the project (though un-cancelled the project after a day). Though the video in question was released after the project was un-cancelled, it was recorded prior.[[/labelnote]]
* SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments:
** It's hard not to feel fuzzy inside whenever he shows his appreciation for his fans, and their concern when life throws him curves.
** Pretty much any time he mentions his "Mum." It's obvious he regards her very fondly, and every mention of her is in reference to nostalgia and happy memories, usually of playing video games together.
** One couple are such fans of his, [[http://askroahmmythril.tumblr.com/post/168232356232/not-sure-if-you-remember-but-a-few-years-ago-my they named one of their cats after him.]]
** The number of times he expresses appreciation for the weekly [[VideoGame/{{Worms}} Worms Armageddon]] sessions, calling them "Break the Durgon Sundays" in reference to how much they make him laugh.
* HilariousInHindsight:
** In the ''Pokémon Emerald'' No Evolutions Run, Roahm goes on a rant that Electric types should be immune to the Static ability, saying how he hopes that's changed in a future generation. Lo and behold, ''VideoGame/PokemonXAndY'' ''did'' do this (in fact, it made Electric-types immune to paralysis in general).
** At one point in [[https://youtu.be/DqtmWfv0Nrg?t=4m33s Gag Reel 2]], he ran afoul of the Windows Key. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPvIl-E1vq0 Three years later]], he would run afoul of its older brother, the Alt Key.
** In the first episode of the ''Pokémon Yellow'' No Evolutions Run, Roahm shows Farfetch'd as an example of a Pokémon he can't use due to lacking an evolution, even saying "Sorry, Farfetch'd. Maybe someday. You could really use it." Come ''Pokémon Sword and Shield'', Farfetch'd not only gets a new form but an evolution for that form as well.
* MemeticMutation: Quite a few, the most known example is the 1-Up Curse, which makes the 1-Ups out to be evil little things that want to kill you just to be useful instead of being just helpful items.
** [[WithLyrics Thanks to his friend Shagg]], many members of Roahm's fanbase will now mentally hear "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKDOS9q6tfI Hey Roahm, you should play Mega Man X...]]" whenever Armored Armadillo's stage theme from that game plays.
* NightmareFuel:
** His FinalBossPreview for the Doc Robot stages. [[spoiler:[[ThatOneBoss Quick]] [[ConfusionFu Man]] [[FaceFramedInShadow has]] [[RedEyesTakeWarning returned.]]]]
** The Red-Eyed Woolly Spider can be this if you're arachnophobic.
* NightmareRetardant: ''Franchise/SilentHill'' is a nightmarishly horrifying series. When Roahm [=LPs=] a given game in it, it almost becomes humorous.
* PlayerPunch: Roahm experiences this during an outtake of his [[NoDamageRun Perfect Run]] of ''VideoGame/MegaMan4'''s third Wily Castle stage. After he lands the final shot on Wily Machine 4, [[https://youtu.be/Ai7Gbcdvkck?t=1099 he gets hit by one of its projectiles]], failing the Perfect Run even though he techinically beat the level.
* TheScrappy:
** While Roahm likes most Robot Masters in some form or another (yes, even Quick Man), he dislikes Aqua Man. In his words, "He really has no personality beyond 'Hi, I'm incredibly annoying!'"
** ''Mega Man Battle Network 3'' gives him Chisao for being [[BrattyHalfPint an annoying little kid]] (made worse by his portrayal in ''Battle Chip Challenge'' and ''4''), and [=BubbleMan=].EXE and [=DrillMan=].EXE for being [[ThatOneBoss incredibly annoying bosses]].
* ScrappyMechanic: {{Escort mission}}s ("Baggage. [[SarcasmMode Yay.]]"), {{hopeless boss fight}}s, and ''Mega Man Battle Network 3''[='=]s Press program. The dragon is not particularly fond of any of these. He even calls the second of these "the cardinal sin" in [[spoiler: ''VideoGame/MegaManUnlimited'', which ends with a "fight" against an invincible Zero]], partly because it was one of these for him, and partly because of ''how'' it was implemented.
* TearJerker:
** His aunt dying. His videos on it don't help, as they explain that he's going on hiatus due to his depression from it.
** His [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iB2P6wLKd4 step uncle passing away]], forcing him to take a hiatus from his ''Make A Good Mega Man Level 2'' let's play.
** His [[https://askroahmmythril.tumblr.com/post/185857809597/unfortunately-my-mum-passed-away-tonight-i-got mother passing away]]. He had already taken a bit of a hiatus from his Pokemon Yellow No Evolutions Run when her health was suddenly declining, but this understandably made the hiatus much longer.
* ThatOneBoss:
** In the Perfect Run series, they're referred to as Nightmare Bosses. Basically, perfect tens are guaranteed nightmares, otherwise it's whoever has the highest rating in the game.
*** In order of difficulty rating, the Robot Masters considered such are Enker, Aqua Man (7/10), Air Man, Buster Rod G, Plug Man (8/10), pre-revenge Elec Man (9/10), Needle Man, the ''VideoGame/MegaManAndBass'' version of Tengu Man, Burner Man, Bright Man, Slash Man, and his original and most feared nightmare, Quick Man (10/10).
** The Doc Robot forms of Quick Man and Wood Man. "That hitbox, man."
** [=QuickMan.EXE=] from the ''VideoGame/MegaManBattleNetwork'' series, whether in the games proper (i.e. ''2'') or ''Network Transmission'', maintains his nightmare reputation from the Classic series.
