In the second season there's a couple episodes where a character gets away with saying "crap", and in a later one a teammate calls Thrasher a "skank". |

While there were a few that were familiar from other cartoons of the era (drugs are bad, don't be sexist), there were some that were unusually sophisticated for a cartoon meant for a younger audience (believe it or not). Like know when it's time to stop doing something, your heroes aren't always who they appear to be, sometimes there's a situation with no ideal resolution, or the dangers of gambling or obsessive stalkers. |
