5* BrokenBase: There's one over which version of "Sub-Culture" is the best. Most prefer the original album version, however there is a significant minority that prefers the single mix that appears on ''Music/{{Substance|NewOrderAlbum}}''. There's also a smaller third camp that prefer the Razormaid/Sarm West mix that came packaged with an issue of the magazine ''Record Mirror''.
6* EvenBetterSequel: Many fans consider the album one compared to the already well-received ''Music/PowerCorruptionAndLies'', offering a slicker and more cohesive blend of PostPunk and SynthPop that brought New Order even further into their own.
7* FanonDiscontinuity: Among a large contingency of fans, the single mix of "Sub-Culture", which is generally seen as overproduced compared to the minimalist album version.
8* TearJerker: "Elegia", especially when you learn it was New Order's tribute to Ian Curtis.
