* ContestedSequel: To ''Ride/TheFuntasticWorldOfHannaBarbera'', especially among non-fans of Nicktoons. Among Universal enthusiasts, it was either absolutely godawful or an underrated modern classic. This also seems to apply for what era of Nickelodeon said Universal fans grew up watching. Many who grew up with the early 2000s Nicktoons line up look back on the ride very fondly.
* CultClassic: Though the ride wasn't viewed in a positive light by some Universal fans, it is in some ways seen as this by Nick fans, as it was notable for being one of the few full-fledged Nickelodeon attractions (that's not just a simple carnival ride) and for being one of the biggest {{Massive Multiplayer Crossover}}s with the Franchise/{{Nicktoons}}.
* JustHereForGodzilla: After the show's cancellation, many riders only went to see the ''WesternAnimation/InvaderZIM'' cameos. The ''[[Series/DoubleDare1986 Double Dare 2000]]'' props at the exit also got this. And as for any younger visitors who wouldn't have recognized Jimmy Neutron, the presence of [[WesternAnimation/SpongeBobSquarePants SpongeBob]] certainly got their attention.
* MisBlamed: While Universal isn't completely blameless for closing ''Ride/TheFuntasticWorldOfHannaBarbera'' ride and replacing it with this attraction, it should be noted that ''Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast'' is actually one of the rare attractions that Universal had little oversight in. It was produced almost entirely by Nickelodeon, with Universal's only involvement being allowing Ooblar to wear a Universal tourist hat. This may explain why many didn't take the ride very well.
* NauseaFuel: The ride was known to be a complete nightmare for people with motion sickness due to the violent whiplash-action movements the vehicles made, especially during the "chicken dance" scene at the end of the ride.
* NightmareFuel: Poultra can be considered this, at least from the perspective of the younger riders.
* OlderThanTheyThink: This ride marks the first time Jimmy Neutron has crossed paths with Cosmo and Wanda, a whole year before ''WesternAnimation/TheJimmyTimmyPowerHour'' came out.
* ReplacementScrappy: As previously mentioned, this ride was '''not''' received well by many Universal fans, especially in regards to it replacing ''The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera''. Even long after its closure, it still continues to be a target of some people's backlash. For fans of this ride, however, [[HistoryRepeats history repeated]] when the ride was later rethemed as ''Ride/DespicableMeMinionMayhem''.
* SignatureScene: The chicken dance finale was usually cited as the most memorable part of the ride for either good or bad reasons, depending on who you talk to.
* SoOkayItsAverage: Universal fans that didn't love or hate the ride commonly held this opinion of it.
* SpiritualSuccessor: To the attraction it replaced, ''Ride/TheFuntasticWorldOfHannaBarbera'', as it is virtually the same concept of animated characters crossing over with one another; just this time with characters from the newer generation.
* UnintentionalPeriodPiece: Having opened in 2003, the ride naturally suffered a case of this, as it not only covered the Nickelodeon of the late 1990's/early 2000's era, but the whole reason why [[WesternAnimation/TheAdventuresOfJimmyNeutronBoyGenius Jimmy Neutron]] hosted the ride was because he was the then-newest Nicktoon character. This was most likely the reason it was eventually replaced as by the early 2010s; most of the shows shown, including ''Jimmy Neutron'' itself, had either long ended or been canceled and not airing anymore.[[note]]''WesternAnimation/SpongeBobSquarePants'' and ''WesternAnimation/TheFairlyOddParents'' were the exceptions, and even then the former is the only show out of these to continue today in its original form while the latter would [[Series/TheFairlyOddParentsFairlyOdder see a massive change]].[[/note]] This is essentially the exact same fate of the ride's predecessor, ''Ride/TheFuntasticWorldOfHannaBarbera''.
