* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: Just before the final battle (and the infamous car crash), a man in a cowboy hat and a speedo appears, takes off his speedo and jumps into a heated open-air bathtub (which is literally just an old bathtub propped over an open flame). The scene then changes to Jimmy driving and shooting at the Drug Lord bodyguards before crashing his car. After the crash and the ensuing explosion, the naked cowboy jumps out of his bathtub and runs off screen. His sudden presence in the film is never explained and he is never seen again. Bizarrely enough, he's credited for the role.
* CultClassic: It's got a fairly strong following among Irish viewers for being Ireland's greatest martial arts movie and among moviegoers with a BileFascination.
* HilariousInHindsight: A member of Boyzone appearing in an Irish production about a drug gang? Are we talking about Fatal Deviation or Series/LoveHate?
* MemeticMutation:
** "You're making me look bad! And that's not good!"
** "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS!?"
* Narm:
** "Fuck you and your gun, ya prick!"
** After Nicola's capture by the bad guys, Jimmy has a Flashback to his memories of her. In the middle of the generic picnic/lovemaking memories, one scene is of him driving a motorbike and firing a handgun, while Nicola clings to his back in fear.
** "You made me look bad. And that's not good."
** "But what about Nicola?!"
** To say nothing of the soundtrack.
** In one scene, two Mooks are cutting up cocaine with a Dunnes Stores Value Club Card.
** The Drug Baron, in general. The film clearly wants to portray him as a menacing, charismatic and classy villain in the vein of someone like Creator/LanceHenriksen in Film/HardTarget but the ultra low budget, terrible dialogue and Michael Regan's completely wooden and non-charismatic performance which make clear that he was only cast because he put up some of the money for the budget make him impossible to take seriously as a threat.
* QuestionableCasting: Mikey Graham of the Irish boyband Boyzone as TheDragon. Yes, seriously. It just adds to the film's Narm. This was at the height of their fame too, so it's not as if he needed the money from a film that cost less than ten grand to make.
* SoBadItsGood: This film combines poor acting with Narm ridiculous dialogue wrapped up in a hilarious ExcusePlot with a side order of SpecialEffectFailure. The result is priceless.
* SpecialEffectFailure:
** It's glaringly obvious where muzzle flashes have been added in post-production.
** The explosion from the car crash looks fairly tacked on too.
* TookTheBadFilmSeriously: Mikey, being played by the biggest name cast member, is the only one who looks like he's capable of acting in any way shape or form. He's probably the most memorable character in the film and does a reasonable job, especially Narm considering the film's script.
