!!From the web series:

* CompleteMonster: [[ThoseWackyNazis Dr. Hans Freuhauf]], a long-deceased follower of the Slender Man, serves as the PredecessorVillain to the Order. Equal parts a Nazi MadScientist and an [[{{Ghostapo}} occultist]], Freuhauf satisfied his obsession for the Slender Man by experimenting on the detainees of the Belsen [[POWCamp concentration camp]], elongating their limbs to make them resemble his idol. Defecting to the US during Operation Paperclip and appointed as the director of the Princeton Experiment, Freuhauf performed many sacrifices in his attempts to open a portal to the Fourth World, ultimately resulting in the Slender Man massacring the staff of the Atlantic Test Site.
* HarsherInHindsight: Chris and Alex abandoning Noah Maxwell in a fit of disgusted rage at the end of Log 25 hits a lot harder after September 2020, where both [=OOG=] Chris and Alex would sever ties with his actor for real after discovering that he had groomed and/or sexually assaulted several women and young girls (''including Heather's actress'') over the course of the 2010s.
* {{Narm}}: Rainwood Memorial Elementary School [[spoiler: when Slendy appears and is seen walking on camera,]] can either be seen as this or NightmareFuel.
** Also, Chris's acting. Especially when he is [[spoiler: screaming and then crying for his parents' death]].
* SpecialEffectsFailure: At the end of Log #14-1, [[spoiler:after Chris finds Greg's corpse, he turns around to find Slendy standing on the stairs with glaringly obvious human hands.]]
* UnintentionallySympathetic: Near the end of Log 25, Chris and Alex angrily abandon Noah Maxwell at the beach Slender Man teleports them to, due to Noah accidentally revealing their identities to the Order. While it is true that Noah blurting out their names was a terrible bounder that has very dire consequences, leaving him stranded in a strange place while in shock, just because he (understandably) cracked under the pressure in the heat of the moment, seems downright cruel and makes Chris and Alex's actions [[UnintentionallyUnsympathetic come across as overly harsh and even petty]]. The creators noted that the video received a lot of backlash at the time it was uploaded because of Chris and Alex's behavior.
* WordOfGod: Alex and Chris have become some-what regulars on the Around the Campfire podcast, where they share a lot of behind the scenes details. Their first appearance was on [[http://www.finalsmash.com/around-the-campfire-episode-2-11-04-2011/ episode 2]], with Chris returning on [[http://www.finalsmash.com/around-the-campfire-episode-3-11-19-11/ episode 3]] along with Tim Sutton from Marble Hornets.

* CompleteMonster: [[PosthumousCharacter Elijah Baker]] was a factory worker turned farmer during TheGreatDepression. One day, to get good crops, he made a DealWithTheDevil for a HumanSacrifice. He honored this deal by killing drifters who came looking for work. When his pregnant wife found out about his crimes, he made her his next sacrifice. This was his undoing, as two police officers came to investigate her disappearance and found her body. Elijah managed to [[CopKiller kill one of the cops]] before the other guns him down.
* MoralEventHorizon: Elijah killing his pregnant wife to cover up his other murders.
