Go To

* AccidentalInnuendo: The kids movies he reviews are chocked full of these. Whenever he sees anything that [[DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything resembles something else]], he comments, "Must be a Bobsheaux!"
* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic:
** His opening theme.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LT4nBsEPBJM Wolfaboo]] by his girlfriend, Raven.
** [[https://youtu.be/ryKjt8lYVDE?t=10s His version of "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year"]] for his {{Christmas Episode}}s in 2017.
* BrokenBase: Hooo boy, his "Pixar Theory- DEBUNKED" video is easily his most divisive. On the one hand there are a large, very vocal group of opposers, who have come to love the Pixar theory and argue he's trying to ruin their fun. A small subsection of these opposers don't believe the Pixar theory but consider Bob making a debunking video on it to be a complete waste of time. On the other are viewers long sick of the theory and pleased someone finally stood up to it.
* DesignatedHero: Bob accuses Marnie from ''Film/{{Halloweentown}}'' of being one of these, calling her obnoxious, smug, and a SpoiledBrat.
* EnsembleDarkHorse: Wolfabob, the cute little wolf handpuppet that was used in the later Alpha and Omega sequels, has gotten high demand to make more appearances by viewers.
** Raven Fox also seems to be this, if some comments are anything to go by. It helps that she is not only Bob's girlfriend, but has helped behind the scenes as well, and even co-comments on his other reviews, like when they covered the ''Film/{{Descendants}}'' trilogy and ''WesternAnimation/TheLittleMermaidIIReturnToTheSea'', among others.
* GirlShowGhetto: Was reluctant to review a Barbie movie at first in order to avoid coming across as having this mindset until Raven convinced him to do it anyway on account on how girls, like all children really, need better movies.
* HarsherInHindsight: In the ''WesternAnimation/{{Trolls}}'' review, Bob makes a quick joke about refusing to make a joke about Creator/JeffreyTambor's then recent sexual harassment allegations. An hour after the review was posted on [=YouTube=], Tambor announced he was quitting his show ''Series/{{Transparent}}'' in light of the allegations.
* HilariousInHindsight:
** During his review of the book [[Film/CoolCatSavesTheKids Cool Cat Stops Bullying]], some fans of Splatoon probably got a kick out of him singing "[[WesternAnimation/Frozen2013 Do You Wanna Build a Sandcastle?]]"[[labelnote:For context]]The Splatfest for March in North America was "Snowman VS Sandcastle", with members of Team Snowman naturally posting references to Frozen all over Miiverse. Then when the Splatfest concluded, it was Team Sandcastle that ended up winning.[[/labelnote]]
** In his review of ''Film/ThePageMaster'', he acknowledges that WebVideo/TheNostalgiaCritic had already reviewed the movie. A few days later, the Critic reviewed ''Film/GreenLantern2011'', which Bob had already reviewed.
* NightmareFuel:
** The wall at the end of his ''Tentacolino'' review.
** The photo montage of creepy Halloween costumes from the 1930s and the music that plays during it in the "Spooky Buddies" review.
** In his "The Bears Who Saved Christmas" review, the cut to the family frozen to death in the car coupled with the ScareChord might catch one off guard.
** During his review of ''Film/CoolCatSavesTheKids'', he does a parody of ''Film/TheShining'' where he discovers a series of papers that repeat “Trolley the Trout makes another friend”. He gets progressively more unnerved as he continues reading until Cool Cat appears and asks how he likes the writing.
* QuestionableCasting: One of his issues with the ''WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy'' ''Franchise/StarWars'' trilogy is how they cast certain characters.
* {{Squick}}: In his ''Romeo & Juliet'' review, he says that the main characters look too young to be in love. This happened again in his ''Alpha & Omega 3'' review.
* TearJerker:
** The aforementioned tribute to the late Judith Barsi.
** His depiction of Chomper's mom being killed by Littlefoot and friends, though done as a joke, is surprisingly sad.
** Bob's review of ''Land Before Time 7, 8, 9, and 10'' starts with him talking about the death of his grandmother. He says that the web camera he used for his earliest reviews was the one she used to keep in contact with the family during her last few months, and he considers the entire show a tribute to her. He says that the last thing she ever told him was "It could always be worse."
** In the same review, he comments on how pointless "No One Has to Be Alone" is, due to being sung while Littlefoot is surrounded by his old friends and several new friends. Instead, he suggests it take place earlier in the film, while Littlefoot is ''actually'' alone, and that it should be sung by the spirit of his mother. This trope is quickly invoked.
-->'''Littlefoot's mother:''' ''I am always with you, even though we had to part.''
-->''Watching over you every place you roam.''
-->''Though you cannot see me, I'm right there in your heart.''
-->''I'll always be your home.''
-->''And you'll never be alone.''
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wxpn-oqTwcc All of this]]. Not only did Raven lose her mom, suddenly and without any warning, but Raven and her sister are left to pay for the funeral, and her brother, who pretty much inherited all of ''both'' of their parents wealth, contributed nothing. And when they objected, they were vilified by the entire community as ungrateful daughters who wouldn't bury their mother, which forced them to go against their mother's wishes and cremate her to keep the expenses low. And even ''that'' is too much for her to handle, so she is forced to ask the fans for help. Throughout the entire video, she is on the verge of crying, until she finally breaks into tears during the end.
* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: As well as TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter, he has the tendency to either find or come up with a better way a movie could've gone, or finding things that would have told a more interesting story. Amongst others, he says that ''WesternAnimation/FlyMeToTheMoon'' would've been better if the flies were adults who had already lived a long, boring life, or that ''Bailey's Billion$'' should've focused on the opera-singing, dog-loving henchman of the main villain.
** In ''Film/{{Halloweentown}}'', he feels it would have been a nice twist to have ''Sophie'' save the day instead of Marnie.
* [[SugarWiki/VisualEffectsOfAwesome Visual Effects of]] CreepyAwesome: Any time he tosses a movie into his box and the box shuts itself. The effect is pretty creepy but also really impressive. It even screams, as seen on the opening sequence!
* WhatDoYouMeanItsForKids:
** His views on ''El Arca''.
** Just about anything that he reviews. When he finds something that's inappropriate for kids, more specifically something sexual, he'll say his new catchphrase with a fanfare at the end: "Must be a Bobsheaux!"
* TheWoobie: Bob feels sorry for the ogre from ''The True Story of Puss 'n Boots'' that he wants to be a swan.
** He also has a soft spot for Periwinkle from Blues Clues and feels bad that Steve is always too busy to see his magic act.
