* AlternativeCharacterInterpretation:
** Pecan Apple: A heroic action girlfriend who's trying to save her boyfriend and the world being plunged into chaos, or a [[ItsAllAboutMe selfish]] and [[ExtremeLibido sexually-frustrated]] {{jerkass}} who wants her new boyfriend all to herself?
** Lady Strawberry: A succubus out to wreak havoc upon the world, [[spoiler:or was she trying to save her daughter from repeating her mistake of killing her lover]]?
* AntiClimax: [[spoiler:The ending, where, after a "grueling" battle with hulked up Lady Strawberry and Sugoi Maple trying to perform a HeroicSacrifice to give her (now discovered) sister Pecan an opportunity to finish their mom off once and for all... only to survive A-OK from the battle, despite both of them being vaporized by Pecan's super-beam attack, with Lady Strawberry being buddy-buddy with Pecan and her potential son-in-law, and Maple still having a rivalry with Pecan despite having made up.]]
* AntiClimaxBoss: [[spoiler:Lady Strawberry's final form, despite being locked out of the Easy mode, is a ''very'' easy boss compared to the rest, even on the hardest difficulty. Her strategy basically boils down to standing in one place to dodge her attack while you wait for Heat Meter to fill up to perform beam attacks (and occasional the dance move) and repeat until ad nauseam. The ''[[RapidFireFisticuffs Blazing Everything!]]'' move can also make her into mincemeat in less than a minute.]]
* AssPull: [[spoiler:Pecan's [[DeusExMachina demonic powers]] suddenly kicking in after Lady Strawberry kills her despite having such powers since birth feels very contrived.]]
* BestKnownForTheFanservice: To the detriment of this game's potential popularity. Incidentally, ''VideoGame/DragonsCrown'', another beat 'em up that has exaggerated fanservice elements, suffered from this too, but ultimately proved more popular [[NoSuchThingAsBadPublicity than most articles about it would have you believe]].
* ClicheStorm: Outside of using sexual innuendos, drudging up stale internet memes, and ripping off dialogue from popular movies for humor, the story follows the "the good guy vs. the bad guy kidnapping the damsel" story blatantly straight. [[spoiler:Then there's the plot-twist pile-up during the finale, featuring Lady Strawberry aping the famous plot-twist of ''Film/TheEmpireStrikesBack'' where Pecan and Maple being revealed to be [[LukeIAmYourFather Lady Strawberry's daughters]], making them sisters and Pecan a [[HalfHumanHybrid half-demon]], and Bellbottom Shades turns out to be Pecan's future son who Pecan was getting the hots for in case she failed to save Cinnamon.]]
* ComplacentGamingSyndrome: The dance move you get from Mistress Mocha. It has all the properties of the two previous special moves Pecan learns (a screen nuke that requires a full Heat Meter to use) plus drops point or healing items, which renders the other two moves and the Dayasha Bomb in boss battles obsolete.
* DemonicSpiders:
** Jenny Jackrabbits, [[MightyGlacier they can hit HARD]], punching and kicking 'em doesn't phase them for a bit but they do flinch if you keep at it. In the later updates Jenny Jackrabbits were nerfed by lowering their HP.
** On Red Zone difficulty, the Hunny Bunnies themselves can be this since they're prune to be very grab happy, stun-locking you into place while you helplessly watch as they tase and beat Pecan to death
* DesignatedHero: Despite being claimed as a hero throughout the game, Pecan Apple's actions and interactions with the villains are hardly heroic. She goes around being a total jerk to the Sexilicous Seven (some worse than others, such as repeatedly stomping on Bitter Almond after her defeat when she pressed one of her {{berserk button}}s), calls them out with derogatory words like such as "slut" or "bitch" when she's no better. Pecan also yanks Cinnamon's chain in the beginning of the game by threatening him with denial of sex for so much as kissing Lady Strawberry and later gets the hots for another guy [[spoiler:who turns out to be her future son]] should she fail in rescuing him.
* GameBreaker: [[spoiler:[[SuperMode Awakened Pecan]]]] [[NewGamePlus outside]] of the final battle. Her HP and Heat Meter steadily recharges over time, allowing her to spam screen-clearing special moves to destroy whatever is pissing her off and shake off most bruises. Combining this with her dance special attack move, which sometimes drops healing items, can render mooks and most boss battles meaningless, even on Red Zone difficulty.
* HarsherInHindsight:
** Spicy Jalapina taunting to the player to remind them there's no Easy Mode lost its momentum when a later update added one.
** Pecan wanting to use Bellbottom Shades as her "rebound guy" if she failed to save Cinnamon from Lady Strawberry is likely to feel incredibly awkward after finding out [[spoiler:that Bellbottom Shades is her future would-be son]].
* HollywoodPudgy: Flan, whose profile even lists her weight as "insecure" and she even mentions she's out of shape in the intro stage.
* NightmareFuel: Pecan has one hell of a SlasherSmile after her Banzaider transformation.
* PlayTheGameSkipTheStory: Downplayed. While the story has been criticized for its bland writing outside shoehorning many stale jokes, innuendos, and pop-culture references from 2000's and its unlikable heroine, the gameplay also has been heavily criticized poor balance, aggravating enemies, tedious bosses, and shallow combat where button mashing can be used to breeze through about most of the game, give or take.
* ScrappyMechanic:
** The Dayasha Bomb. It's only usable for boss battles and only if you have less than 25% HP and a full Heat Meter. The damage is alright early on, but the knock-back is unavoidable and causes you to take damage as well. Use it while your HP is pitifully low and you're likely to end up killing yourself instead.
** The Cosplay feature, that essentially allows players to use palette-swapped variations of Pecan, unfortunately also extends the game's loading times, on a game that is prune to LoadsAndLoadsOfLoading.
* ShallowParody: The game's story likes to throw out pop-culture references, internet memes, and sexual innuendos faster than a [[GatlingGood GShG-7.62]], and doesn't do much outside of this, to the chagrin for those looking for a magical girl/super sentai spoof.
* SoOkayItsAverage: Opinions of the game are checkered at best, with criticism targeting its "[[BestKnownForTheFanservice over-sexualized themes]]", its graphics, its questionable character designs, its bland and shameless writing, and "uninspired" gameplay to the point of claiming it doesn't play like an arcade beat 'em up (e.g. ''VideoGame/StreetsOfRage'', ''VideoGame/DoubleDragon'', and ''VideoGame/FinalFight''). Some fans, however, can appreciate the game for its of humor and gameplay, the nonsensical storyline, the absurd {{fanservice}}, as well as the game paying homage to the beat 'em up genre.
* {{Squick}}: [[spoiler:The realization of discovering Pecan wanting to use her would-be future son, Bellbottom Shades, as a "rebound guy" should she fail to save Cinnamon Basil from the Sexilicious Seven has creeped some players out more than laughing about it.]]
* ViewerGenderConfusion: Ash Bunny is a feminine boy whose only real purpose is to be a "it's a trap!" non-joke.
