* AccidentalInnuendo: "Quit screwing around, Meltman!"
* AccidentalNightmareFuel:
** In "Meltman At Large," where Meltman is turned giant and played by a guy in a suit. It's somewhat mitigated by the fact that Meltman is still subjected to a ton of slapstick and is still just as ineffective as he normally is.
** Hodge Podge's appearance can be unsettling to some younger viewers. He's a man made of parts of random toys and household objects such as a crab claw for a hand, a fork sticking out of his chest, wires all over his body. Doesn't help that he's usually animated with more fluid stop-motion than other characters on the show.
* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLzufzRFH78 Reach for the Stars]]" briefly plays when the League defeated the aliens by deflecting the laser back towards them.
* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: Many, but in one episode, Thunder Girl talks to Thunder Dad: a big, floating, disembodied viking head that berates her for passing up a bottomless shrimp buffet. She thanks him, flies off, and never, ever mentions him again.
* BrokenBase: A number of fans were disappointed with the spin-off, as it consisted of the old shorts repackaged instead of new episodes. However, a number of fans loved it anyway, especially those who wanted to watch the shorts on their own, or ''Action League Now!'' fans who weren't too fond of the rest of ''[=KaBlam=]!''.
* EnsembleDarkhorse:
** The short was an example of this when it was on ''Series/AllThat'' and then ''WesternAnimation/KaBlam''. It was even the only short from the show to gain any form of merchandise (as a few toys sold at Burger King in 1998).
** The Mayor is pretty popular among fans due to his LargeHam personality.
* HarsherInHindsight: "What's Eating the Flesh?" became less funny due to COVID-19.
* HilariousInHindsight: Another (almost identical-looking) CreepyDoll called Big Baby who similarly intimidates smaller toys would later appear in ''WesternAnimation/ToyStory3''.
* JustHereForGodzilla: There have been a number of fans who agree that this was their only reason for watching ''WesternAnimation/KaBlam''.
* MoralEventHorizon: The Mayor crosses this in "The Quarky Syndrome", when he tries to destroy the world with his nuclear reactor meltdown, not caring about millions of lives dying.
* NarmCharm: The show in general, but special thanks go to The Mayor for nailing every single cheesy line he had with the utmost narm possible.
* NauseaFuel: The ending of the episode "Fatter"; food comes out from the Chief's BalloonBelly when he explodes.
