This seems to imply Celestia knows something of what is going on and fears it will affect Luna as well. Despite ostensibly being there to foreshadowing Nightmare Moon's return, that and Luna returning to normal had nothing to do with her own temptation, making Celestia's comment a RedHerring. Furthermore, what is revealed about the water's origins does nothing to explain how Celestia may know what is going on, making her comment even more out of place. |
