* AssPull: The final episode can come off as this. After building up to a dramatic showdown with Dark Surfer, he's defeated and then shown to be DiscOneFinalBoss. The heroes find Dr. Doom, having claimed the Infinity Sword/Stones, and the Squad fight him... only for the stones to shatter and conveniently restore everything to normal.
* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: Fans and non-fans can agree that the tracks are pretty catchy, especially the theme song.
* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: Pretty regularly. For instance, when Dr Strange was reading everyone's minds, Thor is wondering if his tights make his thighs look big.
** Heh-heh, [[StealthPun thunder thighs]].
* FridgeBrilliance: At one point, most of the squad has to either serve jail time or pay an enormous fine. Everyone is shown in jail, except for Iron Man who, as one of the richest men in the Marvel universe, could pay his fine with ease.
** [[FridgeLogic Although you'd think Thor could do that too, since Asgard has a treasury...]]
* FridgeLogic: Iron Man sleeps in his suit under his [=PJs=]?
* HamAndCheese: Some of the really overdone lines from [[Creator/CharlieAdler Doom]] and [[Creator/JimCummingsVoiceActor Thanos]] become CrazyIsCool due to delivery of their voice actors.
* HilariousInHindsight:
** Wolverine's list of people he's teamed up with includes the Easter Bunny. In the fall of 2012, [[WesternAnimation/RiseOfTheGuardians a movie was released]] where Creator/HughJackman voiced the Easter Bunny.
** The Punisher's van smells like Film/{{dirty laundry}}.
** X-23 makes a cameo appearance dressed in a Wolverine suit in the 2011 episode "Too Many Wolverines!" [[ComicBook/AllNewAllDifferentMarvel Fast-forward to 4 years later...]]
** Creator/TravisWillingham voices the [[ComicBook/TheIncredibleHulk Hulk]] in this series and a few years later would take over the role of ComicBook/TheMightyThor, much like Creator/RickDWasserman (who went from voicing the Hulk in ''WesternAnimation/PlanetHulk'' to voicing Thor in ''WesternAnimation/TheAvengersEarthsMightiestHeroes''). It's a good thing his voice is big enough for both characters.
** Captain America is DemotedToExtra, while Falcon was made into a series regular. In a post-''[[Film/TheAvengers2012 Avengers]]'' world, fat chance of something like that happening again.
*** [[spoiler:Although the ending of ''[[Film/AvengersEndgame Endgame]]'' and ''Series/TheFalconAndTheWinterSoldier'' seem to have made this a reality.]]
** One episode has ComicBook/DoctorStrange go insane after a fractal of the Infinity Sword (actually a long-lost Infinity Gem) gets embedded into the Eye of Agamotto. In his [[Film/DoctorStrange2016 solo movie]], it is revealed that the Eye of Agamotto harnesses an actual Infinity Stone, but Strange is able to control it.
** The season 2 opening shows Thor and Hulk during the line "''Well, they may not get along but they're always fighting strong now''". Then comes the release of ''Film/ThorRagnarok'' several years later and that film is the embodiment of these lyrics.
** The season 2 theme has the lyrics "Even Thanos ends in tears, when Iron Man joins the fight". [[spoiler: Indeed, it is Iron Man who brings about Thanos' doom in ''Film/AvengersEndgame''. Also counts as HarsherInHindsight since Iron Man also dies killing Thanos.]]
** One of the Hulk transformation {{Couch Gag}}s had the Hulk change so that he was drawn in the style of ''WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons'', a Creator/{{Fox}} property. It's more hilarious in light of Creator/{{Disney}} acquiring most of Fox's assets on March 20, 2019.
** The Red Skull's debut episode features a flashback of him being bullied by Arnim Zola. Creator/MarkHamill, who voices the Red Skull here, would later voice Zola in ''[[WesternAnimation/UltimateSpiderMan2012 Ultimate Spider-Man]]'', ''WesternAnimation/AvengersAssemble'', and ''WesternAnimation/MarvelsSpiderMan''.
** The ''Series/TheBradyBunch''-style image shown on the main page becomes more amusing with the existence of [[https://youtu.be/L3ymBk6Vb04 The Marvel Bunch.]]
** The concept of a Dark Silver Surfer would come to life years later in 2019 with the Black Surfer, only this time the [[DarkIsNotEvil Surfer remains a hero]] as opposed to the villain he is in the show.
** In one issue of the comic book adaptation of the series, ComicBook/HowardTheDuck makes a cameo as a prisoner of the Collector. [[Film/GuardiansOfTheGalaxy2014 Four years later ...]]
* MemeticMutation:
** Given that the show, like the Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse (particularly the ''Avengers'' films), is a MassiveMultiplayerCrossover, this inevitably sprouted HilariousInHindsight-type jokes comparing the MCU to ''The Super Hero Squad'', such as how the show did better than the MCU did by managing to include the ComicBook/XMen and the ComicBook/FantasticFour.
** Likewise, Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet being an arc of the show soon enough prompted jokes about how ''Film/AvengersInfinityWar'' and ''Film/AvengersEndgame'' (both of which would be released about a ''decade'' after the conclusion of this show) looks great.
* RetroactiveRecognition: [[Creator/AntonyDelRio Reptil]] is [[VideoGame/KidIcarusUprising Pit]]. And speaking of ''VideoGame/KidIcarus'', in one episode, S. Scott Bullock provides the voice of the Red King, using the exact voice he'd later use for Hades.
* SpiritualSuccessor: The whole franchise is most likely to have been--at least partially--inspired by ''ComicBook/MiniMarvels''. With that said, how much of a "successor" the series may be is debatable since ''Mini Marvels'' is still ongoing. Plus, Chris Giarrusso's style and approach are different, in that he depicts the heroes and villains (most of them, anyway) as kids rather than just SuperDeformed grown-ups.
* {{Squick}}: Whilst having his suit melted, the heroes jokingly ponder what's underneath:
-->'''Doctor Doom:''' I'm wearing a [[LargeHam METAL THONG!]]
** Of course, all his metal was melting... You probably don't want to think ''too'' hard about that.
* VindicatedByHistory: Though this show was inevitably overlooked, especially in comparison to other comedy spinoffs of action franchises, the show is actually held in higher regard than most, with a good portion agreeing that it is a surprisingly decent AffectionateParody despite the MerchandiseDriven nature, and mostly has a lot of respect for the audience, whether older Marvel fans or (relative) newcomers.
