The movie was centered around concerns Stewie Griffin, who -- following a NearDeathExperience, vows to be nicer. But seeing as this is ''[[EnfantTerrible Stewie]]'' we're talking about, that doesn't work so he gets into drinking to calm himself, which ''also'' doesn't work and quickly spirals out of control. And afterwards, while watching television, Brian and Stewie see an interview with a San Francisco man who looks and sounds exactly like Stewie. And convinced that this man is his real father, Brian and Stewie travel to San Francisco to meet with him. Meanwhile, Peter gets a job as a local news editorial anchor, and (with help from Lois) grooms his children to be ready for the dating world.

4	''Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story'' was later cut up into three episodes that aired at the end of the fourth season (hence it's placement) that were titled: "Stewie B. Goode", "Bango Was His Name, Oh!" and "Stu & Stewie's Excellent Adventure". Though the movie is considered the definitive cut and as such, the TV edit "episodes" are omitted from DVD releases. The DVD also has about 20 minutes of bonus footage (involving the "premiere" of the movie in theaters and a fourth-wall breaking after party where the characters discuss the real-life cancellation of the series) that was not shown on TV.
