[[WellIntentionedExtremist Well-Intentioned Extremists]] in Music.

* Music/{{Calibretto}}'s "Misanthropy and the Full Moon" is sung from the point of view of a werewolf who detests humanity's hypocrisies and uses his abilities to cull them and [[SinsOfOurFathers their]] [[ChildEater offspring]].
* Music/FloggingMolly's "SevenDeadlySins" refers to [[{{Greed}} Avarice]] as having "ravaged all in spite of good intentions", implying that their personification of Greed was one of these.
* Music/InsaneClownPosse's raps are about serial killers who target the greedy, pedophiles, bigots, and other [[AssholeVictim Asshole Victims]].
* [[VideoGame/MegaMan Elec Man's]] song by Music/TheMegas depicts him as a kind of 'robot Magneto', planning to overthrow humanity to free robots.
** The same could be said for the main villain, Dr. Wily too. As said in "Gamma Unchained" He has to "Make the ends justify the means."
* "Hammerhead" by Music/TheOffspring is about a soldier killing people to save his country. [[spoiler:At least that's how he sees himself. He's actually a school shooter.]]
* Tim Pool's song "[[https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=B-iNIwAFzPw Will of the People]]" starts with a fascist dictator saying "I wish I could spare them, make them see the path. Tempting as that sounds, I'll have to pass. I know what's needed for the good of my people, to save them." And then the rebel leader who overthrows him [[IronicEcho uses the exact same words]]. [[FullCircleRevolution The rebel leader becomes a tyrant himself]], and when he is overthrown as well he has a HeelRealization just before he is executed. It is all just another turn of an endless cycle of one well-intentioned extremist overthrowing another.
* [[WebAnimation/{{Hololive}} Suisei Hochimachi's]] Single [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBuHQeL-OO8 TEMPLATE]] talks about how two different fans of Suisei see her very much as a idol to be placed on a pedestal for different reasons (the office worker girl sees her as someone that saved her life from her boring office work, while the boy sees her as a muse/inspiration, willing to become like her), after that the boy tried to become Suisei, the office worker saw this as him trying to soiled Suisei's reputation and wanted to kill him for doing that. The actual Suisei while seeing the chaos didn't care a lot what's happening and continued to do her own stuff.
