-->"I'm Brad Douglas, of the Spider-Man Crawlspace.com."

Spider-Man Crawlspace is a website dedicated to all things about Stan Lee and Steve Ditko's famous Marvel Comics character ''ComicBook/SpiderMan''. It was founded by Brad Douglas in 1998. It hosts reviews, editorials, news, interviews, forums and other Spider-Man tidbits.

The website can be found [[http://www.spidermancrawlspace.com/ here]] and the podcast page is [[http://www.spidermancrawlspace.com/category/podcast/crawlspace-podcast/ here]].

One of its more popular attractions is the podcast, which began in 2006 and is published several times a month.

As of 2015 the podcast consists oft he following panelists:
* Brad (BD) Douglas, webmaster and host
* JR (Madgoblin) Fettinger, published author on Spider-Man, owner of the website [[http://www.spideykicksbutt.com/ Spidey Kicks Butt]]. Oldest member of the panel whose favorite character is Norman Osborn.
* George Berryman, native Texan who heads up new segments for the podcasts which cover the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon and "Spidey Friday Night Fights" which chronicle notable battles from Spider-Man's history. Also reviews the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon.
* Mike aka Stillanerd-Amazing Spider-Man reviewer on the main page and long-time Spider-Fan. First joined the site in 2008.
* Ashley, new panelist and Black Cat fan from Georgia. Also reviews Spider-Man related titles on the Spider-Man Satellites podcast.
* Zach (Spideydude) Joiner, Clone Saga expert and Ben Reilly fan. Zach contributes to the Spider-Man Satellites titles podcast and other coverage.

Formerly the panel also included
* Michael Bailey, who hosts the Views from the Long Box podcast.
* Stella (Spider-Girl), who was known for her affinity for literature
* Kevin (Morbius) Cushing, aspiring writer and actor most known for his love of the character Morbius the Living Vampire.
* Josh Bertone (Bertone Beatle), panelist with a large wealth of knowledge on Spider-Man's continuity. Particularly known for his love/hate of the character Betty Brant and affinity for Flash Thompson and Sha-Shan.
* Donovan Morgan Grant (Donomark), reviewer for the website. Started out reviewing the various cartoons.
* Crazy Chris, one of the longer running members of the website before gaining a spot on the podcast. Reviewer of the Superior Spider-Man title. Recently he managed to predict the outcome of the Superior Spider-Man's premise months before it was announced.

----
!!Tropes:
* AgreeToDisagree: Half the panel is split on the artwork of Humberto Ramos.
* AprilFoolsDay:
** Donovan wrote up a satirical review of Amazing Spider-Man #121 on April 1st, 2013, giving reasons why it was a bad story through poorly reasoned, highly nitpicking critiques.
** Donovan and Stella faked a wedding for the purposes of The Batman Universe's website. Many people turned out to be fooled, and continued to congratulate the two a couple of months after the joke had been revealed.
* AscendedExtra: Half of the modern panel started out like this. Stella began as a guest spot and returned for a three-year run as a panelist. Bertone and Donovan made infrequent guest shots on call-in shows before both were added to the regular panel permanently.
* AsianSpeekeeEngrish: Bertone when impersonating Sha-Shan, although he's acknowledged and apologized to potential Asian listeners before doing it.
* AuthorAppeal:
** Brad is a fan of the 1981 cartoon "Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends".
** Bertone and Donovan are big fans of the 90s Spider-Man show, so much that they'll reference it and quote obscure and irreverent scenes from it at the drop of a hat.
** JR's second love after Spider-Man is Star Trek. George's #1 food is bacon.
* BerserkButton:
** Episode #169 had Donovan get increasingly angry at the sexist treatment of the Black Cat in Daredevil vol.3 #8 that he eventually yelled at both the writers AND at Brad.
** Bertone has a real dislike of useless hash-tags on comics, as well as pandering to the movie audience in comics.
** Episode #260 had Kevin get into a heated argument with Brad over a Spider-Girl Halloween Costume.
%%* BlackAndNerdy: Donovan
* ButtMonkey: Zach for years, specifically when Stella joined the show.
* CatchPhrase: Stella: "Oh my Gosh". "Prison Ass" for Kevin
* TheCameo: Stella and Michael made surprise guest appearances during the 2012 Spider-Jeopardy show
%%* DeadpanSnarker: JR and Kevin usually.
* DoubleEntendre: Oh dear Lord, yes. Brad is especially fond of this, much to his panelist's chagrin.
* {{Fangirl}}: Stella is one for Iron Fist. Ashley is a Black Cat fan.
* GoshDangItToHeck: Stella was always the one panelist who would refrain from swearing.
%%* HeterosexualLifePartners: Bertone and Don
* HilariousOuttakes: Brad's famous call to JR's hotel room.
* INeedAFreakingDrink: Donovan in episode #255
* Irony: Stella left the Crawlspace and joined the Batman Universe around the same time that Bertone left the Batman Universe and joined Crawlspace.
* LargeHam: JR when he does voices.
* LoveToHate: [[invoked]] Bertone on Betty Brant full stop. This is mostly found in the Amazing Spider-Man Classics podcast where he reviewed the Steve Dito era, but he brought his hate of her to the Crawlspace through a series of articles about the relationship between Betty and Flash Thompson.
* RunningGag: Several. Taking a shot for mention of the Clone Saga, JR yelling when voicing Norman Osborn, Kevin and Brad disagreeing, Zach failing to answer when addressed, Brad promising to edit out a disturbance in the podcast when hearing him say he will in the episode proves that he hasn't.
* ShipperOnDeck: Brad usually notes whenever there's a scene between Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson
* TheSmurfettePrinciple: Stella
** As of summer, 2014, the Crawlspace panel began searching for a new female voice.
* TakeThat:
** Literally invoked by Don when he used a phrase coined by Mark Waid about fans "wanting comics to go back to the way they were when Mommy was alive" when addressing the current regime at Marvel Comics.
** "Take that Waid."
* TalkingToThemself: Stella 52's rap battle with Bubba Moose
* ThatCameOutWrong: Far too often
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: George and bacon. Brad and Mountain Dew.
* TopTenList: Episode #252 listed the panel's favorite Spider-Man artists.
* WhenIWasYourAge: Frequently invoked, parodied and played with. Panelists in their 30s or older tend to reminisce back to the Spider-Man comics from the 80s. More recently the panel has pointed out how they try not to compare so much.
