7	''Jerkcity'' (renamed ''[[https://www.bonequest.com/ Bonequest]]'' in 2018) is a LongRunner of a webcomic, starting in August 17, 1998 with strips coming out almost every day after that. It follows the adventures of Pants the "christmas tree monster", Spigot the beatnik, and Deuce the tiki. The story is essentially non-existent, with much of the dialogue coming from real IRC chat logs rather then being written specifically for the comic. That being said, the majority of strips feature the three (plus some other minor characters) HavingAGayOldTime.

Searching for [="Rands:"=] used to uncover two strips, but now uncovers a tweet about discovering the previously mentioned easter egg. At some point the seminar playlist was removed from the internet, so as of July 2022 searching for Rands leads to the tweet, and searching for [="Rands:"=] again brings up the 2 strips the character still appears in.[[/note]] Given that the real-life Rands and co-creator of the strip, Michael Lopp, is now Vice-President of Engineering at Slack, this might be some variety of TakeThat.
