One day, a VideoGame/RuneScape player going by the name of "Prezleek" decided to make some comedic pictures of her avatar getting into trouble during gameplay. Those proved to be popular and she drew more. And so was born a tradition of making fun of some of Runescape's less realistic aspects.

Prez himself spends most of his time training his skills and taking on (and losing to) Runescape's various bosses. He occasionally bumbles his way through quests, gets trolled on treasure trails, and generally gets into trouble. His faithful Pack Yak Familiar accompanies him all the way, often going above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to cleaning up Prez's screwups. Alla, another adventurer and a friend of Prez's, provides the voice of sanity. Various canon characters also appear to screw with Prezleek, and occasionally get screwed with in turn.

The comics can be found here and here.
----
! Tropes found in this comic include:
* ActionGirl: Alla, a high-level adventurer.
* AloofArcher: Alla is usually seen wielding a Nox bow, and has the collected and deadpan personality to go with it.
* AscendedFanon: There have been two Non player Characters based on Prezleek- a trader at the Spring Fayre and the Yak Trader at the player-owned farms.
* BadassCape: Prez's IconicOutfit includes a trimmed Skillcape of Prayer. It's so iconic to him that it's the item that unlocks him as a pet (as a 'Tattered Skillcape). It does, however, cause him trouble when he uses the Death's Swiftness ability and the wind created blows the cape into his face.
* BlahBlahBlah: Alla tries to explain advanced PVM to Prez. It doesn't take.
* ButtMonkey: Prez is most commonly the butt of jokes, but everyone takes their turn.
** Prez. Whether it be suffering the most inconvenient lag issues, forgetting his ammo when going into a boss fight, or just suffering the worst possible luck in the game, he's pretty much constantly in this position.
** Alla is usually the voice of reason, but occasionally her HardWorkHardlyWorks, leaving her comically frustrated.
** Surprisingly enough, Sliske is also this. All of his appearances leave him annoyed, humiliated, or otherwise inconvenienced.
* TheComicallySerious: Commander Zilyana, about the Godsword. Poor girl is incredibly confused when she realized that you can buy Godswords in bulk on the Grand Exchange (The in-story Godsword is a one-of-a-kind weapon that four factions are fighting to claim, with Zilyana being the general of one faction. In game, you can find pieces of it as drops in the God Wars dungeon, make multiple copies of it yourself, and yes, sell them on the Exchange).
* ComicTrio: Prezleek is the leader doing dumb things, Pack Yak is the follower, and Alla is the OnlySaneMan.
* TheConspiracy: There's one behind Clue Scrolls, which kidnaps Prez when he starts asking too many questions.
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: Prez is a very high-level adventurer, terrible luck aside, and does occasionally get the chance to show off his skills.
* CuttingTheKnot:
** Oddly enough, one comic has an example based on avoiding cutting. When Prez repeatedly fails to cut through the web leading into the Lava Maze, he instead chops down the trees the web is attached to, much to the LemonyNarrator's annoyance.
** Prez gets the Guildmaster Tony's Mattock item by smashing the glass case it's held in, rather than finding the key.
* DeathIsCheap: Well, actually it's pretty expensive, since Death charges for returning items. He even occasionally gives the devs suggestions for new bosses when he needs more money for his vacation fund.
* EpicFail: There's an entire comic dedicated to Prezleek experiencing every kind of Dungeoneering skill failure possible. He's also managed to kill plants grown in a patch that is supposed to be immune to disease.
* ExcuseMeWhileIMultitask: Eating sharks to heal in the middle of combat. Canonically, it just takes one click, but Prez can't always eat a massive fish in one bite.
* ExpressiveEars: The wings on Prez's Helm of Neitiznot function like this.
* FailedASpotCheck: One elf doesn't notice Prez thieving a small mountain of coins and potions from him, and later fails his spot check to notice six people (Baroo included) thieving from him at once.
* Familiar: Baroo is Prezleek's preferred summoning familiar. He's a Pack Yak, a beast of burden capable of carrying items.
* FluffyTamer: Prez has managed to do this to Tuska and Helwyr. Though the latter got awkward fast when Helwyr turned back into elf form...
* GameplayAndStoryIntegration: One comic makes fun of prayer-using enemies having infinite prayer points by having this hit, as a Demonic Gorilla runs out of extra prayer potions mid-battle.
* GameplayAndStorySegregation: Often made the butt of jokes. Common targets include your character's HyperactiveMetabolism, the illogical nature of some skill obstacles, and miscellaneous strangeness.
* GiftOfTheMagiPlot: One comic has Prez selling his seismic wand to get a shadow dye for Alla's nox bow, but she sold her bow to get him a seismic singularity to go with his wand. It gets them kicked out of their raid, but they shrug it off and go fishing in Catherby instead.
* GIRL: Inverted, as Prezleek the player is female, but Prez the character (her in-game avatar) is male.
* GoofyPrintUnderwear: Prezleek has quest icon-print boxers and yak print boxers.
* TheGuardsMustBeCrazy: After you get caught thieving in a Prifddinas district three times, you won't be able to pickpocket elves there for twenty minutes in real time. While this is better than most of the other in-game legal systems (Guards fight you to the death), in-comic it manifests as the Prifddinas guards not remembering that Prez got booted out for thieving 20 minutes ago since their records don't go back that far, much to the consternation of the one elf to not fail his spot check.
-->Elf Citizen: Don't you have eyes?!
* HoistByHisOwnPetard:
** It's possible for Morvran, the elf Slayer Master, to give out Elf tasks. When he gives one to Prez, Prez knocks him out with a bat as part of the task.
** Prez gets himself and Alla electrocuted by testing out a ShockAndAwe weapon enhancement while in an underwater dungeon (To be fair, it cooked the monster they were fighting as well...).
* HookedUpAfterwards: While they're JustFriends by the comic's run, the creator thinks that Prez and Alla eventually did eventually get married and grow old together.
* HyperactiveMetabolism: Both PlayedStraight (it is how things generally work in game) and parodied- Prez has also choked on his sharks while trying to swallow them in one bite, had to pause a fight with K'ril Tsutsaroth to eat, and thrown up from eating sharks kept in his bank for too long.
* HypercompetentSidekick: Baroo. Not only does he carry all of Prez's items, he protects Prez's modesty when his armor degrades fully in the middle of combat, is a competent DJ, and eventually manages to CurbStomp Sliske while Prezleek sings Sliske Got Run Over By A Pack Yak.
* IconicOutfit: Prez is usually seen wearing a Trimmed Skillcape of Prayer and a Helm of Neitiznot.
* IdenticalStranger: At one point, Prezleek the yak trader gets arrested in the place of Prez the World Guardian (the former was based on the latter) for stealing cakes.
* LastSupperSteal: The Last Supper of the Fifth Age is a simplified one, with 8 characters instead of 13 (from left to right: Death, Kree'Arra, Cres, Guthix, Juna, Sliske, K'ril Tsutsaroth, Zilyana, Prez). It's also mirrored, as Sliske (in the Judas position) is on the right side of the painting, instead of the left.
* LeaningOnTheFourthWall: In one comic, the fourth wall smacks Prez in the face.
* LockedOutOfTheLoop: The Guthix Wizard from the Treasure Trails has no idea that Guthix died during The World Wakes and only finds out when Prez questions why he's attacking the guy Guthix chose as the World Guardian if he's so devoted to Guthix.
* TheMillstone: Prez at one point screws up things for his bossing party so much that they eventually assign him to stay out of the way and do nothing.
* TheMindIsAPlaythingOfTheBody: Helwyr is an elf shapeshifted into a wolf-like monster. He acts like a happy dog when Prezleek rubs his belly, which gets really awkward when he shifts back.
* MundaneSolution: In addition to CuttingTheKnot, Prez has been known to redraw banknotes from cheap rune essence into treasured party hats, and when "Blood Dyes" were announced, he immediately found a blood bank to have his own drawn for this use. He got the Commander Zilyana pet item, a lock of her hair, by offering her a haircut.
* NakedPeopleAreFunny:
** Prez has been deprived of his clothes several times- once when the Chaos Elemental uses its 'remove equipment' special too often, once when his armor fully degrades in a fight with Vindicta, once when he accidentally selects 'bank equipment' while fletching, and once when Uri tells him that the 'equip nothing' condition for clue scrolls included his normal clothes.
** Dharok gets in on the fun when his equipment fully degrades in a fight with Prez. He's fine with fighting in the buff, but Prez wishes he'd at least put some pants on.
* NotSoAboveItAll: The reason Morvran (and presumably the other slayer masters) won't give you tasks via enchanted gem communication? He's lonely.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Prez's full name is Prezentine Leek.
* PerspectiveFlip: In one comic, General Graardor gets a pet item from killing Prez, and in the chat log several other boss monsters react with congratulations and envy like typical players when one of their friends gets a pet item.
* PunchClockVillain: Helwyr even offers to reschedule his fight with Prez when Prez gets sick from eating rotten sharks.
* RunningGag: Death is permanently unamused with Prez botching boss battles and winding up in his office to respawn.
* ScaryImpracticalArmor: Bandos Armor. While in-game it's just high level armor, in-comic Prez has accidentally skewered himself on the SpikesOfVillainy it comes with.
* SuperStrength: Prez is strong enough to punch through some unfortunate couple's floor when coming up against the FridgeLogic of Runescape's bone burial mechanic (you can bury bones by hand at any time, even when you're indoors, on solid stone, on a bridge, and in other places you'd think wouldn't be conducive to impromptu burial. Prez faced a Saradomin Wizard from a treasure trail in the second floor of their house, so he buried the wizard's bones through the floor he was on).
* TooSpicyForYogSothoth: When Sliske viewing Prez's memories involving the Stone of Jas turn to DirtyMindReading, he's absolutely disgusted and leaves saying that he's never touching the stone again (what exactly Prez did with the stone remains unexplained).
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Prez is often seen eating sharks.
