What Arbitrary Silliness is a short, random but dark comedy 4 panel comic based on the [[RealLifeWritesThePlot real life adventures]] of two boys, Joshua and Daniel that was first published 20/10/2012, with 10 issues uploaded onto the work's tumblr page. What Arbitrary Silliness aims to plagiarise nearly everything the creator can get his hands on. The author has confirmed it will be a 36 issue series split into 3 volumes, with the first volume being named [[Series/TheWalkingDead Days Gone Bye]]. The story itself has no apparent continuity, but in several cases (notably the last four issues posted) the two boys have the [[ContinuityNod same clothing]] after the [=PS3=] incident. The comic can be found here

* AntiHero: Joshua has shades of this in the first two episodes, during a rampage through the [[VideoGame/DeusExHumanRevolution Detroit PD]] during which he dumps [[TheWoobie Wayne Haas]] [[WreakingHavok under a vending machine]], drives Daniel into selling [[spoiler: blue meth for a new tv]] and makes Daniel believe he got a [=PS3=] game.
* CloudCuckooLander: Sweet God, JOSHUA.
* DeusExMachina: The sudden appearance of the ginger man in the car that saves the boys in episode 9.
* DisproportionateRetribution: In episode 3, Joshua [[spoiler: murders Adam simply because he's a redditor]].
* IdiotHero: Joshua himself is a colossal idiot that [[spoiler: kills two people for incredibly stupid reasons and destroys the Eiffel Tower]].
* OnlySaneMan: Daniel, in spades. He may constantly shout "Yo!" and "Bitch!" but he [[WhatTheHellHero calls out Joshua on his increasingly erratic behaviour]], especially the [[MoralEventHorizon Eiffel Tower incident]] in episode 7.
* SceneryGorn: Invoked in episode 7 with the [spoiler: destruction of the Eiffel Tower]].
* ShoutOut: A reference to [[Website/FourChan /v/]] is made in episode 3 when the game Adam's playing is referred to as "The Walking Feel".
* SociopathicHero: Guess who.
* TheSpeechless: Adam, the chino wearing guy in the chair playing ''VideoGame/TheWalkingDead'' in episode 3.
* StylisticSuck: The comics are drawn in the same crude style as the Breaking Bad comics, but it isn't clear if these are [[TrollFic comics drawn by a troll]] or intended to make an audience laugh through the style.
