'''''ARTV''''' is an online music review Website/YouTube channel hosted by Jonathan Compton, who joined the site in 2009. Jon's videos mainly consist of him reviewing alternative and rock, pop, hip hop, & electronic music on the channel, although he also does a series called "RANKED" where he ranks an artist and their music from worst to best, "Dear Jon Q & A" where he answers thought-provoking questions from fans, and "Wreck It Reviews", where Jon tears into album that he doesn't like or has little to say about in just one minute. Jon and his girlfriend Infinity on Hannah also host a podcast called [[BlatantLies Not a Podcast]], where they discuss topics in the music world that they both feel strongly about. Jon has also collaborated with the likes of WebVideo/SpectrumPulse, WebVideo/TheNeedleDrop, Spin It Reviews, and The LP Club.

!!ARTV provides examples of:
* BerserkButton: Misogyny, materialism, Bro Country, 6ix9ine, AJR...
** To a lesser extent, positive portrayals of recreational drugs. But he can tolerate it when it is delivered with subtlety, humor or interesting music.
* CausticCritic: Often averted, as Jon prefers to describe the album and give it praise for what it does well, even if he can't stand it. But played straight in any of his worst of the year videos.
* EveryoneHasStandards: The character [=Xxbr00talsw4g69xx=], a fan of "edgy butt-rock" bands, even he reluctantly had admit that he didn't like Music/{{Trapt}}'s ''Shadow Work''.
* IHatePastMe: Can border on this in the "I Got It Wrong!" videos, where he discusses albums he has changed his opinion on.
* LargeHam
* LyricalDissonance: Has done a series of videos on "songs that sound happy but are actually super dark".
* StrawFan:
** Sometimes, when Jon is reviewing an often-mocked, "butt-rock" band, he brings out his [=Xxbr00talsw4g69xx=] character, an edgy, hyperactive guy who's a huge fan of such acts.
** In an Album Awards segment where he discusses how disappointed he was by Soccer Mommy's ''Color Theory'', he suddenly gets interrupted by a snarky, hipster fanboy (played by WebVideo/CrashThompson), who accuses him of criticizing a genre he doesn't know about and brags about heading Soccer Mommy's subreddits, her Facebook fan pages, [[BreadEggsMilkSquick and getting banned from three of her concerts.]]
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Being a gamer, [=Xxbr00talsw4g69xx=] cannot go unseen without a bottle of Mountain Dew. In Worst Songs of 2017, he even shakes and opens a 2-liter like a champagne bottle in celebration of the announcement of Music/{{Skillet}} releasing new music.
* VagueAge: [=Xxbr00talsw4g69xx=] looks and acts like an overly-excited teenager, but in Jon's review of ''[[Music/FiveFingerDeathPunch And Justice For None]]'', he's apparently old enough to pay rent.
* YourHeadASplode: In a skit to announce his pick for the worst song of 2017.
