'''''[=BirgirPall=]''''' (often shortened to "Biggi" due to [[TheUnpronouncable difficult phonetics]]), is an Icelandic [[TwoGamersOnACouch gaming duo]] consisting of the titular [=BirgirPall=] and his friend Banzaii. They mostly do edited highlight reels called "We Broke" (formerly known as "I Broke") in which they aim to play the game in unintended ways [[GameBreakingBug often exposing game breaking glitches and bugs]]. In which they then laugh at the results. The duo began with comedic video montages of Battlefield 3, messing around in the game and "trolling" other players. The duo then began doing the same for other games, the rest is history.

The channel went on a light hiatus in October 2017, replacing the usual "We Broke" videos with uploads of twitch live streams, before a permanent hiatus in January 2018. The duo entered new full time jobs in the games industry, with Biggi working for CCP Games, the developers of VideoGame/EveOnline in Iceland, and Banzaii at White Elk Studios, a VR studio in California most well known for Eclipse: Edge of Light.

!! [=BirgirPall=] breaks examples of these tropes:
* BilingualBonus: About half the commentary is in Icelandic, which is semi-mutual with Scandinavian languages (resembling Norwegian the most). Many parts aren't properly subtitled.
* BlatantLies: Sometimes the subtitles are very clearly not what they're saying. "Incendiary grenades" spoken out loud in English is subtitled as "and then the rabbi walks in the bar" in their [[https://youtu.be/B0UPL20SLZY?t=190 Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon video]].
* CallBack: The punchline from their Surgeon Simulator video, "someone get Banzaii an inhaler", reappears in [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGF5leRJ14I their Robocraft video]].
** Another happens in their [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zo2k7nm-4nc Ride to Hell: Retribution video]] when he writes an auto-key macro to let the [[GameBreakingBug game]] [[EpicFail play]] [[AIBreaker itself]]. He then goes off to get a coke, and yells "Pickup the phone!", referencing to their Surgeon Simulator video.
** Their [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B2wxOxt2Cgo Dead Rising 3]] video sees the return of [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FzedJZzmAMc "Beware of chair!"]] complete with accidentally battering an unsuspecting friendly NPC with an armchair.
* CloudcuckooLander: A case can be made for Banzaii, who tends to perform crazier stunts than Biggi ([[SubvertedTrope though not always]]).
* ColorCodedForYourConvenience: Each of them has a distinct color of subtitle: Biggi is white, Banzaii is yellow, and game dialogue is green. The rare times the resident [[TheSmurfettePrinciple lady]] speaks is colored purple. Nykur is red.
* ContagiousLaughter: Banzaii's habit of breaking into fits of loud wheezy cackling, alongside whatever madness is happening on-screen, will likely have your sides leaving orbit. Biggi is harder to notice as he's more quiet and tends to get drowned out.
* EvenTheSubtitlerIsStumped: Occasionally, due to the mixture of Icelandic and English (and general spluttering of laughter) words will be spoken that even the subtitles can't make heads or tails of, such as in the Assassin's Creed III video, where the subtitles can't work out what "owling" is supposed to mean, so they just stick a picture of a bewildered-looking owl instead.
* FunetikAksent: Their subtitles often acknowledge how their accents (as well as in-game accents) sound to North American English speakers — for instance, transcribing their pronunciation of "head" as "hghead", "i fix" as "i feex", and so on. This just serves to enhance the hilarity.
* FunWithSubtitles: Subtitles in the videos will dance around the screen, appear in unusual places, ricochet off each other, and otherwise add another layer of hilarity to your viewing pleasure.
* HelplessWithLaughter:
** "We Broke Surgeon Simulator," Biggi tries to answer the phone, only to fumble the controls and get the phone draped over the in-game monitor, leaving the receiver and cord obscuring the screen. Banzaii cracks up as he realizes that the on-screen "Insert disk" text now appears to read "Insert dick", and ends up laughing for so long and so hard that the subtitles suggest that he needs an inhaler.
** In "We Broke Star Trek," Biggi (playing Spock) dangles from a hole in the ceiling before dropping to the ground... only to find that Spock is stuck in his hanging animation. Banzaii promptly cracks up, leaving Kirk unpiloted as he goes on laughing himself to tears in the background; in the end, the only way the two of them can continue playing is if Banzaii avoids looking at the still-bugged Spock. Eventually, a cutscene appears to fix the bug, only for the hanging animation to return when gameplay resumes. Banzaai loses it all over again.
* IdiosyncraticEpisodeNaming: ''We Broke'' videos are titled "We Broke [Game]" or sometimes "I Broke [Game]". Inverted in the case of ''VideoGame/RideToHellRetribution'', where the title is fittingly changed to "Ride to Hell: Retribution Broke Me".
* LaughingMad: If it's Banzaii playing, expect this at least 2 or 3 times a video.
* LateToThePunchline: If one cracks a particularly bad pun, the other may need upwards of 10 to 30 seconds (measured on-screen, no less) before getting it.
* LetsPlay: Subverted? The two aren't really trying to play the games, they're more content with seeing how far they can break the game being played at the moment short of outright crashing it.
** Played straight with ''We Done Did'', which they stopped doing in favour of focusing on the "We Broke" videos.
* NoIndoorVoice: Banzaii can sometimes get so loud that he clips or breaks the audio, and/or forces it to be turned down in editing. This is hilariously [[LampshadeHanging lampshaded]] in We Broke Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.
* {{Pun}}: The two are quite fond of these, regardless of the situation at hand.
* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: There's no real way to tell which is which. With all the jokes going on, their roles seem interchangeable.
* RedOniBlueOni: Biggi is the blue to Banzaii's red, if only because Biggi is more soft-spoken and his laughing is more subdued than Banzaii's.
* RunningGag: When Biggi and Banzaii disagree on what something is, Banzaii's voice repeating his previous line complete with a close-up screenshot that shows that he's wrong will appear, followed by rave music and "FUCK YOU BANZAII I WAS RIGHT" while the screenshot shakes and zooms in and out with a neon filter.
** Subverted in [[http://youtu.be/4OW38E8FA9U?t=304 "I Broke: Unearthed Trail of Ibn Battuta"]], where it repeats ''both'' of their assertions, followed by "FUCK YOU GUYS NOBODY WAS RIGHT".
** And then subverted again [[http://youtu.be/4OW38E8FA9U?t=435 in the same video]]: "FUCK YOU BIGGI I WAS RIGHT"
--->"FINALLY!"
* TheBigGuy: Biggi ''sounds'' the part, but Banzaii's live appearance [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_1LKqsFguE here]] betrays a more muscular appearance than we're lead to believe. Their Patreon video reveals them ''both'' to be ridiculously buff...and yes, Biggi is slightly bigger.
* TheSmurfettePrinciple: A grand total of 4-ish female appearances (likely the same person) out of all their videos in the background.
* TheUnpronouncable: Literally no one outside of Iceland is capable of pronouncing this guy's nickname correctly, and so he gets variously called "Burger Paul", "Burshur Pahl" and so on. Lampshaded [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEUYE6adbEg in this video]].
