Jor-El could have saved more people by convincing private individuals to lend their resources to building more ships but it might never have occurred to him to play at politician and the scientist in him considered all the current Kryptonians as "failed experiments". In short more of Krypton could have been saved if not for the lack of forethought or planning in many of their chief decision makers. |
