Bernard's attitude and behavior towards Craig may not sit to well with the show's fanbase and if it continues, he may become the show's least liked character by fans. So it could go either one of two ways:

While he does get angry at Maya, it's because she fails to protect his candy from being stolen, not because he blames her for his failings. Green Poncho, with the help of Kelsey and Old Green Poncho, does take Maya down but her allies are not there to see it happen, nor is her pride used against her. Finally, the Other Siders don't turn on Xavier until Craig defeats him, which via the terms they agreed on, resulted in his abdication.

In the Halloween episode, Bobby literally stalked Craig's dad for candy, the sheer creepiness seems to imply that Bobby was approached by King Xavier for a proposition. Bobby helps Xavier take over the Creek, and Xavier promises candy for life in return.
