However: Canaan's some hair is short compared to Rein's flowing locks. Canaan is a bit short of flat while Rein has huge tracts of land. Canaan wears pants while Rein favours a MiniDressOfPower. Canaan uses a gun while Rein sticks by spells. Rein is a supporting character while Canaan isn't. The Nanoha-verse, despite its turn to the DarkerAndEdgier with ''[=StrikerS=]'' and ''Force'', essentially still leans to the idealistic, while Canaan(the series) leans to the cynical. And Rein [[spoiler: dies ([[UsefulNotes/SchrodingersCat except when she doesn't]])]], while Canaan doesn't... Okay, I think I am stretching it.
