8	** Going further, the Mr. Bean of the later animated series is Mr. Pod from the final episode of the pre-revival series, who left the alien ship with a spare Teddy. This may explain why Bean is less mean-spirited in the newer seasons, and why Mrs. Wicket is ''a lot'' nicer to him there.
9	* Alternatively, Mr. Bean was an ordinary man, abducted by aliens and subjected to mind-altering experiments, and later returned back to Earth. His very odd behaviour is a result of the mind-altering experiments that the aliens carried out on him.
10	** Adding to this, the identical Mr. Beans from the animated series would be clones created from DNA samples of Bean obtained during the aforementioned experiments.
