5''Seduce Me'' is an original-English language VisualNovel made by [[https://www.facebook.com/pages/Seraphim-Entertainment/497366060320407 Seraphim Entertainment]], released for the PC in February 2015. After funding a successful Kickstarter, the game was released for free online and can be found [[https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1730112593/seduce-me-an-otome-visual-novel/posts/1135720 here]]. It was also greenlit for a Steam release.
6
718 year old [[HelloInsertNameHere Mika Anderson]] is the granddaughter of the CEO of the famous toy company, Anderson's Toys. After her grandfather passes away, she inherits his mansion, which her father decides to move her into right away. Upon arrival, she encounters five unconscious men -- actually incubi -- who have broken into her house to seek shelter from a group of devils. As they have nowhere else to go, Mika allows the incubi to stay with her in the mansion and in exchange they do the housework while preparing to take the misfits on again so they can leave.
8
9The production company, Seraphim Entertainment, runs a [[http://seraphimentertainment.tumblr.com/ Tumblr Account]]. In addition to the game, the franchise includes an original music CD, up to five playable epilogues, and a drama CD, which is a non-interactive WhatIf story that shows the reader what life would have been like if the player character didn't end up with any of the boys and they still ended up staying with her in the mansion.
10
11In late 2015, Seraphim Entertainment announced that they were going into production of a sequel-- ''Seduce Me 2: The Demon War'', which details the incubi coming back to their world and the eponymous war, a rebellion against the Demon Lord, happening during their return. The sequel game released in 2016, and is the last installment in the visual novel series.
12
13Not to be confused with the 2012 erotic game of the same name by No Reply Games that was pulled off Steam Greenlight. To avoid confusion, the visual novel is often labeled ''Seduce Me the Otome'' in storefronts.

15!!Tropes:
16* AbstractEater: The brothers don't necessarily need sex for energy. Demons of Lilith (succubi and incubi) can take it from simple hand-holding or kissing: anything that might be remotely sexual. Also, in the Sam's case specifically he can feed off of rage energy too. For example, if Mika had not given into that ForcefulKiss from Sam at the beginning and simply gotten mad at him, he would have just fed off of her anger towards him instead.
17** Sam's ability to feed off Mika's rage, had she not been affected by the enthrallment, is due to him (and the rest of the brothers) being [[spoiler: half brute-demon]]. It affects Sam more strongly than the others.
18* AFormYouAreComfortableWith: The boys sort of have to be this way, since they're trying to lay low in the human world while they recover from the beating they received earlier in the game.
19* AllThereInTheManual: Anything that isn't directly mentioned in game (such as plot elements and character facts) is elaborated on the creator's personal blog or on the blog of Seraphim Entertainment.
20* AmbiguouslyHuman: [[spoiler: Damien, after the events of his good ending.]] However, [[invoked]]WordOfGod states that [[spoiler: though his magic has been taken away, [[BroughtDownToNormal all that's happened is that he became powerless.]]]]
21* ArtEvolution: The sequel upgrades all the visuals, including the character sprites, backgrounds, and CG's. Some of the downloadable bonus stories, like the BeachEpisode, take it even further with CG's having more of a "painted" look.
22%%* BalancedHarem: A reverse-harem version.
23%%* BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor
24* BeachEpisode: One of the bonus episodes has the MC and the incubi brothers taking a vacation to the beach, wherein the player chooses which brother's route.
25* BigBad
26** Malix and Diana (outside her own route), at least for the first game. The first is a devil with a grudge, the second another demon attempting to convince one of the boys to come back to the Demon World and marry her. [[spoiler:The sequel reveals her more sympathetic reasons for doing this, such as saving her family.]]
27** The Demon Lord, also known as the five brothers' father, is this for the second game. The plot revolves around the rebellion against him, and the finale is a faceoff between him, you, and your chosen partner.
28* BigFancyHouse: The Anderson Mansion, originally belonging to Mika's grandfather but now granted to her as part of his will. It's large enough for all five of the demons and Mika to live comfortably in.
29* BodyguardCrush: In ''The Demon War'', Saero, the bodyguard of the rebellion leader, is deeply in love with his superior Diana. The two have grown up together, and it's implied that the only thing keeping them apart is more pressing concerns.
30* BrainsAndBrawn: James and Sam are this respectively, especially given their extra abilities. The contrast is further emphasized in ''The Prince VS The Brute'', which sees the two brothers at odds over Mika.
31* CastFullOfPrettyBoys: And a handful of pretty girls as well. In the demons' case, it's justified as them being incubi/succubi, and thus using their good looks and magic to seduce people for their energy.
32* CelibateHeroine: At least two routes have Mika not end up with any of her options. The ''Just Another Day'' CD also does this, as the boys still live in her house but do not court her.
33* CharacterizationMarchesOn: Diana's characterization in the first game is that of a smug and confident seductress, even on her own route. Her characterization in the sequel is instead that of a jaded, no-nonsense spearhead of the rebellion, still confident but with her initial "seductress" personality almost gone entirely.
34* ChildhoodFriendRomance: If you romance Suzu or Naomi, as the two have been friends with Mika since childhood.
35* ColorCodedCharacters: Each of the incubi brothers is associated with a certain color. James is gold or bronze. Erik is red or pink. Sam is green. Matthew is light blue. Damien is black or white. Diana also follows this trope and is purple.
36* ComboPlatterPowers: Each of the incubi has a unique secondary ability that seldom has anything to do with being incubi:
37** SuperIntelligence: James' ability, which allows him to learn new languages very easily.
38** DreamWeaver: Erik's ability, allowing him to ease nightmares and control dreams.
39** SuperStrength: Sam's ability, making him the strongest physical combatant out of the five brothers. There's also his SuperSpeed on top of that.
40** {{Hammerspace}}: Matthew's ability. He can create anything so long as it fits in his pockets.
41** {{Telepathy}}: Damien's ability, although it's more of a BlessedWithSuck ability as he can't shut it off or on when he wants to.
42* ConfessionTriggersConsummation: In any of the boys' routes (James, Erik, Sam, Damien, Matthew), it'll come to a head when Diana makes an offer for them to return to the Demon World with her and leave Mika (the default name for the player) behind. To get the good ending, Mika interrupts to say she loves the demon in question. Said love will be returned if enough of the right options are picked. In this case, the sex that follows is entirely optional and won't affect the happy ending.
43* CuttingOffTheBranches: ''The Demon War'' effectively makes the routes with Suzu, Naomi, and Andrew moot, since it is the romance with one of the five brothers [[spoiler:or Diana]] that allows the player character to join them in the Demon World.
44* DarkerAndEdgier: The original game is fairly normal and tame for a supernatural romance otome. The focus is largely on making the right choices to successfully romance whichever character you chose. Malix and Diana cause conflict, but they can be easily taken care of. The second game is anything ''but'' tame--the Demon Realm is engaged in a full-out war, and with this comes a whole slew of much more serious subject matters, from death to abuse to rape and more.
45* DeathOfAChild: You find out in the sequel that while Diana was in the human world trying to convince at least one of the brothers to return to the demon realm, [[spoiler:the Demon King attacked her family and slaughtered her mother, father, and unborn baby sister.]] In Erik's route, [[spoiler:the child's spirit that has attached to Mika is revealed to be said unborn sister, Oribel.]]
46* DemotedToExtra: The incubi characters (James, Erik, Sam, Damien, Matthew, and Diana) are the only available routes for the second game, with no routes for the human romance options. Naomi and Suzu only briefly appear in the sequel on a phone call, and Andrew makes no appearance.
47* DiegeticSoundtrackUsage: Mika's ringtone is the game's opening song.
48* DistantSequel: Not for Mika and the incubi brothers, who have only had two years pass since the original game's events. For Diana and others in the demon world, however, time runs twice as fast and it's thus been ''ten'' years since the brothers left.
49* DoItYourselfThemeTune: The opening songs for the games, "Chained the Monster" and "Flames Inside", are composed by Erik's voice provider, Christopher Escalante.
50* DownerEnding
51** In the first game, it's possible to get the MC killed through the player's mistakes, both from Malix and his crew and Diana. In a much less dire sense, it's also possible to be rejected by the incubus you were trying to romance.
52** The second game has many more chances to get a bad ending, and the results are ''much'' more brutal.
53*** James: He will [[spoiler:accept his place as the Demon Lord and be separated from the MC forever in an act of IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy]]. Prior to this, your encounter with the [[spoiler:angels]] can end very badly--you could either be [[spoiler:completely wiped from existence]] or [[spoiler:be brainwashed into forgetting James ever existed.]]
54*** Erik: In the final battle, he can be [[spoiler:cut down by the Demon King.]] Earlier, during your mental struggle with the unknown spirit, she can potentially decide to [[spoiler:take you out with her, leaving your body soulless and unresponsive--much to Erik's heartbreak.]]
55*** Sam: Your nightmare from the beginning can come true, and you and Sam will be [[spoiler:killed together by the Demon Lord. Your meeting with the dragon may end with it burning you alive.]]
56*** Matthew: He could succumb to [[spoiler:his parents' brainwashing and kill both his brothers and the MC]]. Earlier, if you fail to snap him out of his episode, he'll also [[spoiler:snap your neck and kill you.]]
57*** Damien: The Demon Lord can [[spoiler:kill you in the final battle right in [[ForcedToWatch front of Damien]], and subject him to an eternity of torture afterwards.]] You can also die earlier in a situation similar to Erik's.
58*** Diana: Saero can lose his mind with jealousy and heartbreak, and [[spoiler:brainwash Diana to be by his side.]]
59* EeriePaleSkinnedBrunette: Mika and Matthew both, but Matthew moreso for his paler skin and darker hair.
60* FirstGuyWins: Sam, if the player chooses to pursue his route, seeing how he stole her first kiss. According to WordOfGod, this is also true for the rest of the series looking forward.
61* EarnYourHappyEnding: Every route with the brothers in the sequel will include you having to endure the hardships and grief forced upon you both, not just from the war itself--James' fate, the spirit haunting you and Erik, Matthew's brainwashing, etc. If you make all the correct choices, you can [[spoiler:return safely to the human world and be HappilyMarried.]]
62* EveryoneIsBi: Demons of Lilith are this as well, as they don't much care for gender when it comes down to romance or feeding. Diana is implied to have taken energy from the AlphaBitch in the first game, and can end up with Mika in the first game or the very male Saero in the second.
63* ForcefulKiss: Sam does this to Mika at the beginning of the game in order to demonstrate his energy draining abilities. Whether Mika reciprocates or angrily shoves him back is up to the player.
64* GayOption: Suzu, Naomi, and [[spoiler:Diana]] for Mika.
65* GoodAngelBadAngel: The heroine's two friends, Naomi and Suzu, are this towards the heroine. Who you side with the most affects the later parts of the game.
66* GratuitousLatin: All of the demon's spells are in Latin. [[spoiler:The "Angel's Password" is a subversion, being in plain English.]]
67* GreenEyedMonster: Saero is very, very much in love with Diana, and ''does not'' take kindly to anyone who poses the threat of taking her away from him. In Diana's route in the sequel, his jealousy can turn him into a full-blown {{Yandere}}, but this depends on your choices. Playing James's route also causes more tension because James and Diana were almost in an ArrangedMarriage, so just having James in the same Realm as Saero ''really'' puts the latter on edge.
68* HappyEndingOverride: When the boys find out that one of them is going to be forced into an ArrangedMarriage with Diana, they put in motion their plan to escape to the human world. Diana tries to manipulate one of them (whoever you chose to romance) to come back and marry her, to no avail. As we see in the second game, however, this has ''serious'' consequences. [[spoiler:The war that resulted from the boys leaving resulted not only in the murder of Diana's parents and unborn sister, but the lives of '''millions''' of innocent demons. Needless to say, Diana is ''very'' tense with all of them when they return in the sequel, and outright says in Sam's route that she blames this all on them for being selfish.]]
69* HaremGenre: Or rather, reverse-harem with a female central character. It's one of the major appeals for the game, as English-language otome games rarely play into that fantasy. It's downplayed on the non-romantic routes, or the routes for anyone who isn't one of the five main incubi.
70* HelloInsertNameHere: The default name is "Mika Anderson," but the first name can be changed to anything the player wants. There's even a Steam achievement for doing so.
71* HotterAndSexier: Much like the first game, the sequel doesn't show anything explicit during any of the sex scenes, but there's a bit more detail given before the SexyDiscretionShot, and each route has 2-3 optional sex scenes as opposed to the original game's single ConfessionTriggersConsummation finale.
72* IKnowYourTrueName: Each of the demons have a true name that can be used to summon them. They tell the [[PlayableCharacter heroine]] their true name, which she uses later to call for help. [[spoiler:James' is Raestrao, Erik's is Uzaeris, Sam is Aomaris, Matthew is Zecaeru, Damien is Izroul, and Diana is Ezaeur.]]
73* InterspeciesRomance: By default, since the main love interests are incubi [[spoiler:and one succubus.]] This is only averted if you choose one of the three humans to romance.
74* IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy: James's potential bad ending in the future. [[spoiler:He accepts his destiny as the Demon Lord and sends the MC back to the human world, never to se her again, to spare her any more pain.]]
75* FateWorseThanDeath
76** Demonds can have their physical bodies destroyed whilst their souls remain. It's possible to interact with and talk to them, but as proven by [[spoiler:Oribel's situation]], it is ''not'' a happy state.
77** In one of Erik's bad endings, you can have your [[spoiler:soul taken out of your body by Oribel. No one says that your dead, but from the horror and angusih in everyone's voices, that may have been better.]]
78* KissKissSlap: Mika just starts punching Sam after their ForcefulKiss.
79* LighterAndSofter: ''The Demon War'' is a much more serious sequel with darker subject matters, only ''beginning'' with the main plotline revolving around a war that has killed thousands. In contrast, the bonus episodes--including the BeachEpisode, the WeddingEpisode, and even a "Kitty Cafe" episode--are generally just fun, light-hearted short stoies.
80* LoveTriangle: [[SubvertedTrope Subverted]] in the main story, as it revolves around a harem, but you can ultimately only choose one person to persue. The alternate route ''The Prince VS The Brute'', however, plays this straight between James, Sam, and Mika.
81* MarriageBeforeRomance: [[spoiler: This was the plan for James and Diana. The marriage was arranged, so he doesn't love her at all, and she was only marrying him to save her kingdom (though the brothers believed it was for power).]]
82* MarryThemAll: One of the playable epilogues, ''Five Hearts'', has Mika obtaining all five incubi at the end.
83* MeaningfulName: "Malix" sounds very similar to "Malice." Fitting, for a devil who delights in tormenting you and the incubi brothers.
84* MultipleEndings: As is common in otomes. Other than your different romance options, your decisions could lead you to a happily ever after or a potentially deadly death. The sequel has many more examples.
85* NobleMaleRoguishMale: James and Sam's respective roles for Mika as the two major love interests. They're also the only ones of the group to get their own joint Episode which pits them against each other, more blatantly displaying this comparison.
86* OneTrueLove: In ''The Demon War'', it turns out that [[spoiler: Saero's is Diana, and vice versa]]. In most routes however [[StarcrossedLovers they won't be able to get together]], but if you play your cards right they can for one of them.
87* OrderVersusChaos: The two human female romantic routes, pitting the orderly Naomi against the chaotic Suzu. If you choose to pursue a non-romantic route, the Lawful/Chaotic ending depends on which friend you've sided with more often over the course of the game.
88* OurDemonsAreDifferent: Though they are incubi, and they ''do'' feed off of sexual energy, the five incubi [[spoiler:(and the succubus, more than likely)]] also feed off of general feelings of pleasure such as happiness. Even so much as touching the subject of their affections can give them energy.
89* PetTheDog: Diana's relationship with the player in the sequel is understandably tense due to how they left each other in the first game, coupled with Diana being much more prickly and no-nonsense thanks to her time leading the rebellion. That said, she does have tender moments with the player character, often making sure she's okay and defending her from harm--when the player abruptly arrives confused and terrified, Diana gently assures her that she's safe. The second the player shows fear of Erik (due to the spirit controlling her emotions), Diana doesn't hesitate to stand between the two of them.
90* RelationshipUpgrade: As of the second game, [[spoiler:Mika is engaged to whoever's path she chose.]]
91* RomanceGame: Of the Otome variety.
92* SexyDiscretionShot: If Mika decides to have sex with the characters, at any rate. There will be some hot and heavy action going on, but the VN cuts to black before the two parties get really frisky.
93* SiblingRivalry: Sam and Matthew always seem to be at each others' throats. [[spoiler:Matthew also has a one-sided rivalry with James.]] And ''The Prince VS The Brute'' sees this established between James and Sam.
94* StoryBranchFavoritism: The narrative seems to prefer Sam to the rest of the brothers, as most canon alternate routes have Mika encountering Sam first, and the True Ending of the second game is followed up on in his good endings.
95* SuccubiAndIncubi: Incubi/Succubi have a necessity for sexual energy, but they can gain it through any physical touch. As explained by James, handholding and similar touches can be enough, but sex itself is a "feast" for them.
96* SweetTooth: Matthew, the resident master pastry chef.
97* ThemedHarem: Mika is romanced by five [[SuccubiAndIncubi incubi]].
98* {{Tsundere}}: Sam. Lampshaded to hell and back over the course of the story.
99* UnexpectedInheritance: Mika finds out that she gets her grandfather's entire BigFancyHouse and the inheritance to his company mere ''hours'' after the funeral.
100* UrbanFantasy: The first game takes place in the present-day modern world despite the presence of magic and creatures like devils, demons, etc. This is averted in the sequel, however, which almost entirely takes place in the demon world.
101* ViolentlyProtectiveGirlfriend: All of the main incubi are gender-flipped examples of this trope [[spoiler:and eventually become Husband examples.]] The most extreme of them are [[spoiler:James and Sam. Diana's guard Saero is another gender-flipped example, a rather extreme one at that.]]
102* {{Yandere}}: For ''Seduce Me 2'', in Diana's bad ending, [[spoiler:Saero is revealed to be this for her]].
