4''Let's Go Jungle!: Lost on the Island of Spice'' is a first-person rail-shooter game, in which players are required to mow down BigCreepyCrawlies with a real-world light gun. At some points of the game, the player must [[PressXToNotDie perform quick time events to avoid taking damage]].

6An environmental organization called "Green Leaves" came to the island after it was devastated by war and attempted to restore the local ecosystem to it's original state. 16** To damage bosses, players are required to shoot multiple targets on their body within a time limit. Failing to do so results in the players taking a ''lot'' of damage.
17** You ''can'' deal additional damage to the giant tarantula in the second fight by shooting off the mushrooms on its back. They will regrow and you don't have to reaload, so you can end the fight a little faster than if you just shoot the targets.

23* CoOpMultiplayer: Given that the protagonists are in a relationship, the game relies on (and even ''scores'' you on) how well you and your friend work together, giving bonuses for shooting something about to attack the other player or both shooting the same target. Naturally, the PressXToNotDie sequences are built to destroy your friendship, as both players must both perform well to succeed. You will receive a percentage after every stage and at your game's end on how well you worked together; the highest scores DEMAND perfection and synchronized cooperation.
24* CrosshairAware: For bosses, a ringed target will appear on the part that you have to shoot before the timer runs out. Destroying all the targets will cause the boss to flinch (and skip its attack), while taking too long will result in the players getting damaged.
25* DeadlyUpgrade: The next time you see the Tarantula boss, it has a lot of glowing fungi growing from it.
26* DownerEnding: If you fail the PressXToNotDie sequence at the end, Ben and Norah break up and their helicopter pilot becomes infected with the same mushroom that made the wildlife aggressive.
27* GiantSpider: Pretty much what you'll be fighting about 50% of the time, both as the most recurring foe and as a RecurringBoss.
28* GoldenEnding: Ben and Nora's relationship is saved, and the couple escape the island, if you kill the final boss.
29* GoldenSnitch: Getting the good ending for the game all boils down to whether you manage to succeed in the final PressXToNotDie timed sequence.
30* GoneHorriblyRight: The Nature Conservation group, Green Leaves, brought in chemicals to help the flora and fauna of the island grow back after it was devastated by war. It brought them back, but as giant mutants.
31* HateSink: In the Special edition, the guide with the Mexican hat. He is annoying, not very brave and [[spoiler:accidentally creates the Man-Eating Plant that is the final boss in this version. Even worse, after the adventure is over and Ben and Norah have risked their lives several times over, the guide charges them a lot of extra money. You have to [[PostFinalBoss punch him]] if you want to save your relationship and get the GoldenEnding.]]
32* KillerRabbit: You've been fighting a GiantSpider, a giant frog (or giant mantis), and a Giant ManEatingPlant, all of which are predators in real life. The FinalBoss, however, is a giant ''butterfly''.
33* IslandOfMystery : The Island Of Spice itself.
34* LastChanceHitPoint: Failing a quick-time event decreases your life level, but because [[MortonsFork QTE sequences must continue regardless of whether or not you succeed]], any failure of a QTE that would have dropped your life bar to zero instead pegs it to only one percent, leaving you one blow away from a game over.
35* LifeMeter: How health is measured. Can sometimes feel pointless when successful boss attacks can deplete more than half of both players' health.
36* LudicrousGibs: The fate of the giant bullfrog boss when you defeat it? It explodes into a disgusting green goo all over Ben and Norah.
37* ManEatingPlant: The true boss of Stage 3. It's also ThatOneBoss.
38* MortonsFork: Every QTE sequence must continue uninterrupted regardless of whether you succeed or fail at each prompted action. Your health gets pegged to one percent if you do very badly so as to run out of life during one.
39* PiranhaProblem: The River cruise stage has swarms of piranha fish that leap out of the water and try to attack the player.

It can cut you with its wings unless you hit ''several'' targets in little time, and will definitely blow you off the damn helicopter, giving you only one chance to kill it afterwards!
45* RecurringBoss: The [[AttackOfThe50FootWhatever oversized]] [[GiantSpider tarantula]] that attacks Ben and Norah at the start of the game attacks them again, two stages later.
46* ShootTheFuelTank: How you're required to defeat the giant frog and the ManEatingPlant.
47* ShoutOut: The Man-Eating Plant boss is based off a Literature/{{t|heDayOfTheTriffids}}riffid, what with the CombatTentacles and yellow flower.
48* SlayingMantis: The boss of the Temple stage is a gigantic mantis.
49* SuperPersistentPredator: The giant spider survives being shot repeatedly at point blank range, only to return in the final stage stronger than ever.
50* TrickBoss: After reaching the end of the third level, your attacked again by a weakened, mushroom-infested Tarantula that jumps at you. After killing it it lands on the patch of plants... and the toxin spray from its corpse turn the plants into the real boss.
51* ZergRush: How the regular spider {{Mooks}} and swarm-based enemies attack.
